I recently got this Hourglass Timer with the green sand and a black wooden frame for my son, and it's been a delightful find. He's taken quite a liking to it, and here's why:He's a big fan of the bright sand colors and the unique design. It adds a fun touch to his homework and reading sessions, making them feel less like chores.In terms of functionality, we've had it for a few months now, and it hasn't disappointed. The sand flows smoothly without getting stuck, which is a relief. It's become a reliable timer for his daily activities.One thing I appreciate is the timer's build quality. Given the reasonable price, it's an excellent deal.What's more, it sits firmly on his desk, and there haven't been any issues with it sliding around or tipping over. This stability is crucial for his focus during study time.As for the features, it's pretty spot on in terms of accuracy. This precision helps him manage his time effectively during homework and reading.All in all, this hourglass timer has been a great addition to our study routine. If you're on the lookout for a reliable and visually appealing timer for work or homework and reading, this one's a winner!The only thing I'd say would be nice looking back is if it were more of a 30 minute timer because often the full hour isn't needed for our use cases in which case it's fun to try and beat the sand but we don't end up using it for an accurate timer in those cases.

I got this mainly to decorate my desk, rather than as an accurate timer. Even though the dimensions are listed in the product info, I was still pleasantly surprised by how large it was. Overall, I have no qualms with its aesthetics. It doesn't look too cheap and the sand is a nice color.As for accuracy, the one I got was so-so. I timed it at 58'44", which is off by a bit over 2%.Note: At the time I purchased this, it costed $16.99 plus it had a 10% off coupon. I would never have considered buying this at full price without those discounts.

Purchased this for my 16 year old daughter. She absolutely likes having this in her room. The color is a beautiful purple and the black holder is more than adequate, although I wouldn’t expect it to hold up too well if it accidentally fell from a shelf or desk with wood floors. I did purchase a 2nd one for my son in law, he liked the look of this for his desk at work...his was blue. As far as the accurate time...who knows, this was intended for a decoration piece for a room and office.

Cheaper than I thought but it works.

Bought this for my husband, who loves hourglasses, and as soon as I opened the package it was very dusty, the screws were loose (had to tighten them up because if I didn't do so the whole thing would be wiggling), and the surface of the base started to peel.I think that overall, it's just ok. Not sure if it's worth the amount of money that they are charging for it, to be honest.

This is a beautiful red grain hour glass. It is well made. Came well packed and was in perfect condition. I can’t say enough about how pretty it looks and how true the red color is. I was so impressed that I also found a green one and a blue one. They are a compliment to any home and a very fun time piece!

The hourglass arrived on time. It was well packaged, and a good price.The item itself is large, and weighs around half a kilo.I have timed the Hourglass - it comes in at 60:38. 38 seconds over the hour. That's 1.05% over. Which is very accurate for an inexpensive piece of decor.I purchased the white sand version, which is bright and clean. I was torn between colours, and may add further versions to my collection in the future.Would recommend.

I was looking for a quality hour glass and this is the best one I could find.

I really like the style and look of this. The down size is because it's a 60 minute timer the sand filters through so finely you can barely see it. It's a shame as looks great but don't get the relaxation of watching the sand.
