Gave this to my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she is obsessed with the night sky now. Calls me from her backyard each night to tell me what she can find in the heavens. Love that I found a gift she truly enjoys and will learn from!

This was a gift for my grandson he mentioned wanting a telescope and microscope which I purchased from Amazing Amazon as well. He loves all things that have to do with space!!! He absolutely love this and so do I

This was the perfect gift. I wasn't so sure at first, but once they opened the box, and started using it, I was happier than them.Again: this is for beginners. And sooner or later, you will need to get a better one.

It works, it’s not cardboard made, but it’s not built to last. The tripod is functional but very lite material. Yes this is under $100 but you’ll know that it was when you feel the build. It looks great, it magnifies the sky, so it serves a purpose. It told my son if he really enjoys astronomy we’ll upgrade. I’m that sense this is a good “first” telescope for a child 12 or under. I’d spend more for a teenager and certainly more for myself or an adult.

I wanted a beginner telescope for my grandkids to use during their visits. I am impressed with the overall quality of both the telescope and tripod. The objective lens and eyepiece allow for clear and concise viewing. The telescope comes with an instruction manual with easy-to-follow detailed instructions as well as offering tips on aperture, optical quality, moon viewing, and observing deep sky objects. I really like that it comes with two different eyepieces: 25mm and 10mm. The grandkids can start off with the 25mm lens then 'graduate' to the 10mm lens. This is a quality telescope for the price!

As excited as my child was to use it, it was short lived at it broke within 5minutes. The part that connects the tripod and the telescope broke in half. I contacted the seller who said that it happens all the time and that they will send out a new piece. It has been months and I still haven't recieved the part and when I try to reach back out for communication I get no response. Save your money and spend it at a place with better costumer service who will do what they say they will.

First time to see the moon surface myself. Great product!

Ok for the price. A lil hard to focus. Decent for a child if it was easier to focus.
