You can never go wrong with OEM but you never have to go OEM, per se!
I’ll admit that I am one to usually go with OEM product replacements especially when it’s something that is suppose to fit well, filter well, and be of the quality that I want my air filtration to perform.The sound level, smell, and thickness /dimensions will be identical to the filter that came with your COWAY and owning over six of them myself. I can say that you can never go wrong with OEM but I’ll admit for some others I’ve gone with different “generics” for a try in areas that are in need of frequent replacements becuase of the particulates (kitchen) or areas where I’m not trusting my air quality to non-OEM like the primary bedroom!If you don’t want to risk that there’s even a chance the filter won’t fit and you want to know you’re getting the genuine replacement pack, with added carbon filters. This is the right choice for you!

I've used this for a couple of years because it is quiet and effective.

box says filters 0.3 microns not 0.1 as advertised
product description and picture says it filters 0.1 microns. on the actual box it says 0.3. this discrepancy is confusing

I highly recommend
This filter and air purifier are the best addition to our house! I know they are kind of pricey but it works incredibly well! They do have a constant hum when on high, but I find it very comforting not annoying. It actually is perfect if you like to have a sound machine at night! I put it right next to my bed and it helps me sleep at night!

+++ work much better than the original filter that came with the air purifier.
This is the first time I've had to replace the Coway filter, since using the original that came in the box with the 150 air purifier. Interestingly, the unit has been going off way more since installing this filter - I've no idea why that is, but the unit seems to be responding much more sensitively to the room environment since replacing. Not sure whether the original one was old or what. Anyway I'm happy.

Dependable and effective
I have ordered this pack of Coway Airmega filters several times now, and will continue to do so. They are very effective and dependable, and they fit perfectly in my Coway air cleaner.

As you would expect from an OEM brand filter
While this is the official OEM branded filter for the Coway Airmega 150, for less than $50 at the time of this review, it's a bargain considering the True Green HEPA lasts a full year and comes with two charcoal filters to replace every 6 months - everything you need for your Airmega 150 as part of your annual filter replacement plan. I wouldn't say the same if the HEPA filter had to be replaced every 3 months like the Levoit Air Purifiers (mine costs close to $55), but as once per year replacement, it's a bargain.
