These short colored pencils are higher quality than expected. The pencils stay sharp and put down a good amount of color with normal pressure. I highly recommend these for on the go.

Great for carrying along in my shoulder pack or for setting on the coffee table with a couple of mini coloring books for when the hubby is watching baseball.

Nice pencils - very smooth color lay down (similar to prismacolor) and I love the portability factor. They are a little difficult to use due to their short length - of course that that goes along with ease of carrying around. Great to keep in my purse along with a mini coloring book!

So itty bitty and cute! They fit perfectly in my bag. I saw another reviewer take the inside plastic out and more things. I knew I immediately had to do the same. And absolutely genius idea. I'm obsessed with my little art kit now.

My grandchildren enjoyed these little stocking stuffer gifts along with a special mini coloring book I got them. The kids range in age from 10-16 yrs. The quality is excellent. The colors are nice and saturated. They travel a lot in the car and liked that they fit nice into schoolbags or pouches for travel. The metal case makes it extra nice and I’m pretty sure it came with a pencil sharpener too which was a nice surprise. It’s a very nice set. Thank you!

The Tombow brand is known for its quality, so I didn't think twice about purchasing this mini colored pencil set. I wanted something portable, and appreciated that it came with its own tin and sharpener. I took out the insert tray to fit in a mini HB pencil and the sharpener.The colored pencils, as expected, are good quality for spot sketches on the go. The tin, though, has press-to-open feature on the back end that seems more gimmicky than helpful, especially since the tin opens effortlessly on the front end. The problem is that even a small amount of pressure on the back edges pops the tin open so the pencils fall out easily.I'm going to put a rubber band around it or find another container, but I was hoping this would be an all-in-one item that I could confidently tuck in my bag or notebook case.

A year or two ago as my girls were learning to draw my Mother in Law dug out my wife's old colored pencils from her school days. After a year of drawing and coloring those veteran pencils have been worn to a nub and I was happy to see that replacements are available.These pencils come pre-sharpened in a tough metal box. They write cleanly and have vibrant colors. They're a big hit with our girls and a vital way to entertain them when we are out. Plus there's the sentimental value of having the same pencils their mom had.Delivery from Japan took a bit of extra time but nothing outrageous.I'm sure I'll order more.
