Helect Calculator, Standard Function Calculator (Black)

There's not much to write about a calculator, but I give this one 5 stars because it is easy to use as the keypads are big enough even for fat fingers, but not so big as to take up too much space making it easy to punch in the numbers quickly. The battery is long lasting as it also has the little solar assistance, and in the last 2 years I only changed the battery once, even using it every day. I like the large display making it easy to see even after starring at a screen for a good part of the day. Nice product and definitely recommend.

I'm very happy with this calculator! The calculator I had, the buttons always stick or don't push down all the way. So it was really easy to make mistakes. I got a different calculator from Amazon a while ago, but had to throw it away. The battery was dead and not replaceable. This one is great! It takes 1 AA battery and works great! The area in my house that I need to use my calculator doesn't have a lot of light (natural light). And I don't like having my lights on during the day. So I needed a calculator that runs on battery power instead of solar. This calculator has both, which I'm sure some like the solar option. It's also nice and big, but not too big, so the buttons are easy to push without pushing the number next to it. They push down smoothly. It has plenty of functions (although I only use the basic functions and the %). The display is nice and big and easy to read. This was a great price and a good calculator. I'm very happy (and I paid full price and wasn't contacted by anyone to purchase). I'm not a fan of unauthentic "in exchange" reviews, you can't really trust them.

This a a plain and simple calculator, nothing special but it's exactly what i needed and at a decent price. Big buttons, has and ON and OFF, it's both battery and solar operated. I do wish it would show the sign " +, -, x" , of what you're trying to calculate, etc. so that i could keep track but it doesn't. If you need something simple but big enough to see this works.

I was blind. Stupid, too. I was wandering through a world completely oblivious to the fact that there are questions out there with concrete answers - not estimates. "How much is 12 + 20?" Someone would ask me.. "Um... 25-ish?" would be my reply. I was a fool. Had I the use of this wondrous device, I could have saved, literally, TENS OF DOLLARS in my life: I would have known that the "Four for a dollar" "special" on Ramen wasn't a bargain at all when they actually cost only 18 cents each! I would have known that Meisterbrau isn't really much of a bargain and would have been much more popular at Fraternity Parties had I only brought PBR. I would have known that 50% is just another way of saying "half of everything" in my divorce. Oh... so much wasted time.... But not now. Oh no; now for the bargain price of "less than $10" and Free Prime Shipping I can tell when I'm being ripped off; I can tell that $57 for a pack of steaks isn't that much when you're getting 20 lbs of beef! No, it's not a "Scientific" Calculator, but who can make any sense of all THAT anyways? Cosine, Tangent, Co-Tangent.. that's for geeks and tech nerds. Nope: give me "Add/Subtract/Multiply/Divide and maybe a Percent key and a Memory button, and that's fine. If it was good enough for Grand-Dad, it's good enough for me. Seriously, though: it's a calculator. Works on solar or with a battery back-up (AA cell). Buy it.

Quick, imagine the most generic calculator you can. This is it. The product does its job and, really, at this price, what else could you want? it's a simple old-fashioned desk calculator., just as advertised. It has the usual extra buttons besides the ten digits and four basic operations, like the Memory buttons and the percentage (%) button, but no bells and whistles. This is NOT a scientific calculator. For power, it has a slot for a single AA battery and a solar panel. I haven't even bought batteries yet because the solar power works well in the day and I don't need it at night. The buttons feel nice to press, it looks good, the screen has big numbers and is easy to see. I kind of hoped it would be a bit smaller, but this size is fine, too. Shipping was fast and the product was well protected with bubble wrap. So overall, zero complaints.

The Helect Calculator is a fantastic tool! It looks exactly as photographed. I love that this is a solar calculator but has a back up AA battery option so one can constantly use the calculator. The keys and screen are big and makes it easy to see. It has the basic function buttons but also tax and currency conversion, profit margin percentage and command signs. Its a great addition to my office and I use it regularly. I highly recommend you add the Helect Calculator to your office must have tools!
