If you want electrolytes, are trying to watch your calorie intake and like a salted chocolate this one is for you. It’s not very sweet and admittedly it took a moment for me to get used to a salty hot chocolate, but now I find it to be a guilt-free treat after some cold weather exertion.

Delicious!! Very rich and salty but not overwhelmingly so. I used hot water, a small amount of heavy whipping cream and a sliver of butter. I whipped it up with a frother. The stevia is minimal, the last ingredient listed, and I didn’t find it overly sweet, more of a sweet aftertaste. This is helping me quit coffee.

I have pots and have one of these every morning to raise my salt levels. They are literally so delicious and salty. I can't live without them. Like the ingredients too. Feels like I'm having dessert without the calories. So pricey but it is unfortunately worth it for me

I just started the keto diet, so I’m still craving carbs and sweets. This mix gets rid of my sweet tooth. It has a nice taste. I like the saltiness bc I like salted Carmel. If you’re not a fan of salted Carmel or chocolate, you might not like it. I like cold drinks, so I get a small cup of hot water to dissolve the mix and then add it to my ice water. If you don’t do that, it won’t mix well in cold drinks. Drinking this the first few days took away my keto flu symptoms. I’ve also tried the citrus , watermelon, and raspberry, but this chocolate Carmel one is my favorite. It is very sweet, which takes some getting used to, but oh well. I definitely recommend this to folks who are low carb and have a sweet tooth and like salted Carmel.

I did not expect to like salty chocolate electrolyte drink, but there is something oddly satisfying about it. I enjoy the balance of salt, sweetness, and chocolate. I've tried it warm and cold and both are good. My only complaint is I would prefer sugar to stevia extract. Artificial sweeteners always leave an unpleasant aftertaste, and this is no exception.

Really disappointed in this product. I have tried other electrolytes before and have one that I use that I enjoy but was trying to find one lower in calories so it didn't mess with my fasting. I loved that this was 5 calories and hadn't thought to add electrolytes to warm water before. I first tried a packet in black iced coffee and it was nasty. It didn't mix well at all and was super sweet and salty. I decided to try it hot and added only half a packet to a mug. It mixed much better and the saltiness was tolerable but the sweetness was not. I could barely stomach about half of the mug. And it took time to drink that. The flavor combination overall was decent minus the sweetness. If it didnt have the stevia I think this thing would be amazing. Let me add that I have a SWEET TOOTH. I am not someone who doesn't eat sweets. I am doing OMAD and like 40hrs prior to trying this LMNT, I ate a dang whoppie pie during my omad. So I was really surprised at how disgustingly sweet this thing was when I typically rather enjoy sweet things. 3 stars because if you dont mind stevia and how grossly sweet it is- this product is low in calories, and would probably be a pretty great addition to your morning coffee or even with hot water like I had it. I think it probably did help with brain fog a bit too so there's that. But it's gross lol

If you have POTS or some other medical condition where you need electrolytes these are a must! I've also used these for the carnivore (low carb) diet. They make me feel much better and chocolate salt is the flavor I can tolerate. I mix with hot water and to me they taste like a hot chocolate. You can make them with heavy cream, half and half, or even almond milk. I just prefer water.

EDIT: My original "1-star-as-too-many-stars" review caught LMNT's attention, and they responded quickly and positively; LMNT offered a full refund. I changed my stars from 1 to 3 based solely on the proactive response and the full refund from whoever is in charge of customer service, loyalty, or retention. Thank you, LMNT agent, I really appreciate your effort to make it right. Again, thank you. I have been using LMNT products for a long time now (October of 2022). I have tried a lot of the LMNT flavors. Some of the flavors I have attempted were like, "No thank you, not a taste I wish to support." But the "Chocolate Salt" reminds me of something my 10-year-old self would double-dog dare a friend or peer to try, just to see their face melt and see what insults their shocked mind could muster... you know, fun times for all when one is small and into mischeif. This particular flavor (again, Chocolate Salt) needs a zero-star rating; one star is several stars too many. This is the most foul-tasting product I have ever tried. After following the directions precisely and measuring everything out, I took a sip... wow, what a horrible taste. Does not taste like any form of chocolate that I have ever tried. Made my stomach a bit lurchy to boot. How has anyone actually enjoyed this flavor? As the title says, I am out $45 and the item cannot be returned. I might write LMNT and see if they can do me solid and send me a replacement or something, but that requires time and effort and frankly, I am a bit worn out. Think Bilbo Baggins said it best, "Like too little butter spread over too much bread." Be cautious and willing to not get your money back but maybe you will discover a taste that is right for you.

The flavour is really not for me. I have tried both hot and cold and at different concentrations but I find this a lot harder to get down than some of my homemade electrolytes mixes. :( for the price I was expecting a lot better a bit sad can’t return

Very tasty. It’s great on a cold day because you can add hot water and it tastes like a hot chocolate.
