Good Stuff
This is tough plastic sheeting. It would be overkill for painting, but for something like protecting your truck bed when you haul dirt, which was my main use, it is great and holds up to shovels being dragged across it or pulling it up to move dirt closer to the tailgate. Be warned it is not clear (more like frosted glass) but would still be good for covering plants in winter freezes as the majority of light gets through and shrubs won't poke holes in it. I have a lot left after my dirt hauling (leveling the yard) exercise, but I bought a big roll like this about ten years ago that was finally used up a couple of years ago. Since that was used up I can't count the times I missed having it out in the shed, whether it was times I wanted to work on something on a desktop and needed some protection or I was changing oil in the lawn mower and wanted something to protect the patio from my clumsiness. It is handy to have around.

Excellent barrier against weather!
Excellent size and quality. Using it to shield my chickens from wind and rain in their coop. I've also used it to cover truck, and trailer loads to keep the load dry during transport with great success. Easy to cut to size with a simple utility knife and can be punctured to allow zip ties to be used to hold in in place without fear of the plastic tearing. Has held up to severe winds and rain already this season making it worth every penny spent. Keeps my chickens dry and comfortable in their coop. I have a few more projects in mind where this will be used to protect my floors while painting and keep the dust down during renovations. Go with the 6 mil weight... you will not be sorry!

💪 Durability & Quality
We actually purchased this to make our own slip n slide without breaking the bank!!!! This held up for multiple weekends of heavy use with some very active boys! Pros: • Tear‑Resistance: The 6 mil thickness gives it good resistance to tearing. It stands up well to being pulled over rough surfaces, stapled, or secured by nails without ripping immediately. • Flexibility: Even in cold weather, it remains pliable. It doesn’t crack or stiffen up easily. That means fewer surprises when working outside or in less‑than‑ideal conditions. • Longevity / Resilience: Good against moisture, acids/alkalines, and many common jobsite chemicals. It doesn’t seem to rot or degrade prematurely when used as a protective cover. Cons: • UV Exposure Limitations: While durable, this plastic isn’t meant for long‑term exposure to direct sunlight (UV). Over time, UV can degrade clear polyethylene unless it’s treated or shaded. If you plan to use it outside for weeks/months, expect some yellowing or brittleness eventually. The spec sheet indicates it does not come with UV inhibitors for extended sun exposure. • Opacity / Clarity: Because it contains some recycled content, clarity is decent but not crystal clear. If you need perfect transparency or optical clarity, this might not meet that standard.

Good quality.
Reading all the reviews on this product I was skeptical on buying it, but I was quite surprised at the quality and thickness with it only being a 6 Mil. Would definitely buy again. If you are looking for clear/see through, this product is not. It’s actually cloudy, almost white in appearance.

Very thick! Not clear or see-thru...
This construction plastic sheeting is very thick, and it worked perfectly to help insulate my chicken coop and run (made from a plastic shed). We had a big snowstorm, and with the plastic covering the run and coop the temperature inside was about 15 degrees warmer than outside - which my small bantam chickens really appreciated! The only thing I didn't care for about the plastic is that it is not see-thru or clear (so I can't see my chickens without pulling the plastic away). Overall, this is high quality plastic sheeting and I recommend it. I hope you find my review helpful!

Ex
Nice and thick. Used it to enclose the sides of my carport before snow hits. I got the same plastic a couple of years ago and paid a whole bunch more. Great deal!!! Great value. Very pleased.

Great barrier plastic!
Great for vapor barrier and the thickness is perfect. It doesn’t tear easily and very forgiving while working with. I’ve seen some bad reviews because people state that the plastic isn’t clear, taking two whole seconds to look at any review with a photo will quickly show you that this isn’t clear. Shop smarter.
