There are lots of music choices ranging from standard bell sounds to classical music to Christmas songs. The installation was very simple and the sound level is adjustable and is loud enough to be heard throughout our 2000ft2 condo. The sound quality is not amazing but it is just a doorbell so not a big deal.

Easy to install and clear sound. I did have to unplug & replug the receiver after a power glitch; not sure if that's normal. Since "each doorbell receiver can pair with up to 4 push buttons", I thought I'd just buy 2 additional push buttons, but I can't find that option on Amazon at all, nor do I see it at the website listed in the installation instructions that came with the doorbell. I called the support number and they said to look for DES4110R/27 for replacement buttons. Not in stock at Amazon. So...I'll give 5 stars because I received exactly what I ordered, but a little disappointed that expanding it with 2 additional push buttons isn't going to be as easy as I thought. (I ended up buying another entire kit so I could pair 2 more buttons with the first receiver. Hope that works!)

We wanted to replace the original doorbell that came with our 30-year-old condo - it was too loud. This one had all we needed, two rings and adjustable volume. Although pairing instructions came with it, it had been factory paired, so all I had to do was attach the button to the door frame and hang the bell unit. The only difficult part was capping all the original wires. I used two drywall anchors to support the bell and that was it. We have it on the lowest volume and it works perfectly. There are alternative units with lots of different ring patterns but if all you need is a doorbell - this is it.

Super easy to install. Our ancient doorbell stopped working some time ago, and some mean-spirited visitor destroyed our button. It took us longer to go through all the chimes and pick one out than it did to install this new one. The doorbell button is pretty skinny, which was useful for us because our door frame is not very wide. After putting the batteries in, everything just worked without any fussing around needed.
