Good topper. Ours was 7 years old and ripped so we ordered this one. Came a day early and appears to be about the same or a little thinner than the OEM topper. Withe the slideout all the way out I rolled the old one backwards a couple of turn and pinned the hole. With the slideout still completely out, took all screws, one gutter and one end cap off. Took the whole assembly and layed it on the slide out with the groove up, then slid the old topper off and layed it on the ground. Took the new topper and layed it on top of the old one, layed a board under it and using a straight edge and razor, cut the new topper about an inch longer (thought the old one could have been wider). Sprayed the track with silicone after taping all sharp edges at the entrance of the track. Brought the slideout in so I could reach both cords hanging out and slid the topper in both grooves slowly at the same time. Wife was on another ladder holding the cover up. Slid on in about a minute. Opened the slide out all the way after taking our clips off the folded fabric, and then installed all hardware in reverse order. Removed the pin and we were done, took about an hour. Not bad for nervous newbies doung a 14 foot topper!Take aways. Take a picture of the side you pinned beforehand and the orientation of the pin and keep in mind how many rounds you rolled it back before pinning. You will want to put it all back the same before rebolting the caps. This will help with keeping the proper tension on the spring when finished. We also folded over then clipped the new awning in four different places length wise with both ends exposed so there wasnt a lot of slop or play when sliding it on. That was the wifes idea and it was a good one. Good luck!

Excellent product for the cost. I was shocked by the quality maybe because of where the manufacturing was done. Made in Mexico 👍.I try not to buy Chinese.

This seems to be a quality topper. We liked that they have colors other than white or black. The material seems at least as thick as what was there, but since it was ridiculously old, hard to compare. Can't say the installation was easy, but I think that's the nature of these beast. I was able to remove and install 2 toppers myself working from the roof. Had to have help on the other one because of the mounting arm for the patio awning over the topper awning. I had no issues with any of the 3 toppers we bought, all were the advertised size and cut straight from the factory. The bead diameters were perfect for both the RV side and the roller tube side.

The installation was pretty smooth @ easy. The quality seems to be good for the price. Was looking for a tan color but the grey looks good. Happy with the selection.

The material was cut exactly as requested. Fits perfectly. Also held up in 80 mph winds this last week. Looks great, sturdy.
