I was very pleased to give these oils as a gift. My friend has used a couple so far & thoroughly enjoys the scent in her diffuser. The company is a superb company to buy from as I have purchased other brands that were far far far more expensive with absolutely no difference. I really enjoyed the fact that they came with 2 empty bottles that you can create your own personalized scent with. They have the labels on them but are blank so you can fill out what is in them yourself. I will absolutely buy again from this company as they checked to make sure my purchase was satisfactory almost the moment I received them. I will be telling my friends & family about these oils at a fantastic price without compromising quality. I gave these as a gift & will be buying my own set very soon! Upon receiving the box of oils and opening it that same day I was a little worried as there did seem to be a chemical smell. (I was hoping that it wasn't the oils.) However, I left the lid off the box overnight and the next day compared the oils to other essential oils that I have, which I know are pure essential oils.I was pleasantly surprised to find no chemical smell coming from the oils; so, I assume whatever the previous smell was could have been a reaction between the oils and box they were in.The Ultimately Essential Oils did smell quite similar to their counterparts. I only noticed a slight difference here and there, with some smelling a little less strong as what I already had, or others having a tad bit more potent smell even.I decided to try the Frankincense and Lavender on my sister's fractured foot, and she reported significantly less pain the following day. We both are looking forward to seeing if the oils do aid in speeding up the healing process.I mixed my own blend, with a carrier oil, into one of the empty bottles provided; which is targeted at helping my family and I relax and sleep better throughout the night. I tried it on myself before going to bed and do believe I noticed a calming effect. I will keep note on if it seems to help the others.So far, I have decided to rate them at 4 stars since I have only had them for a short amount of time. I will use them over the next several months and adjust my review accordingly if I continue to experience positive benefits from these, or if I encounter any negative issues.UPDATE: 3/25/2018I have had these oils for quite a while and kept forgetting to update my review. I upped the star rating from 4 stars to 5. I would definitely recommend these oils to someone for a starter kit. My sister who was mentioned above, asked to buy the lavender from me because it relieved the pain in her foot significantly, so of course I just gave it to her. I have used the oils for different purposes off and on and have not noticed any lack of quality. These seem to work just as well as other "name brand" oils I have used. For the price you really can't beat it!

I am very happy with this set. I am new to using essential oils, and so far I am please with the results, not to mention the I found they are more affordable then other companies. They shipped my gift set quickly too, and the customer service is great. I have had an ongoing email conversation with Founder, Debbie, and it is like talking to a friend. She is knowledgable and very willing to share ideas about the oil usage. I will order from this company again.

I bought this essential oil variety pack as a gift for a dear friend who is new to aromatherapy.I chose this variety pack because it had the standard starting oils, plus some empty bottles for her to make her own concoctions, should she want to. It came in a nice "gifty" type of box, and that had an impact on my decision as well.I cannot personally vouch for these oils, but my friend spoke highly of the pack and was very happy with her gift. In light of that, I give it 5 stars.

I was so excited to receive my Essential Oil Starter kit from Ultimately Essential, it came a day earlier than expected which was fantastic!First of all, this kit is such a great value! If I had gone to a local shop to purchase these oils it would have cost me twice as much money. Second, I am really impressed with how knowledgable this company is. Reading through the User's Guide was so informative and you could tell a lot of research was done to provide accurate information to buyers. For a newbie to essential oils I found that very helpful, and it makes me confident that this seller is the real deal! I used the recipe provided in the User's Guide to disinfect my kitchen using the lemon oil and now my house has the delightful aroma of a citrus orchard. It is so nice knowing I can use these around the house and have the fresh smells I enjoy without the chemicals and toxins found in candles, air fresheners, or cleaning products. I haven't really delved into the medicinal or therapeutic uses much yet, but that's definitely something I will be trying soon. I can't wait to continue experimenting with these essential oils!

I really loved the oils I just wish it came with a booklet to show you what each one is for and how to apply each one ! The online page really isn't that informative. Thank god for pinterest.

I highly recommend this product! It is certainly worth every penny. First, I was surprised by the size of the bottles - I have friends who have been using essential oils and their bottles are so small, these bottles are worth the money! Second, it comes with a user guide that is extremely helpful, especially when you are new to essential oils (as I am)! The lavender is my favorite, thus far, since it is so versatile. I cannot wait to experiment and play with the different oils for not only myself, but my husband and daughters! This pack has such a variety of oils that the uses are endless!

It wouldn't allow me to give it 4.5 stars. I like the oils a lot and they came with an email that contained a lot of information about each, which I printed out. My only issue the the storage of them. The box has a softer, but it isn't firmly attached so they can move around and I worry about future leakage.
