I settled on this model after researching most of the similar air cleaners at a variety of price points under $150, comparing features, and reading an unknown, but quite high number of reviews across the board. So far, it seems to be performing as promised. I got this as an experiment to see if I would be able to smoke cigars indoors once in a while, without smoking out the house or having lingering cigar smells. The day after it arrived, I took the plastic off the filter (duh!) and set it up in my room on auto. The light stayed green, so I tested it out by lighting a bit of tissue and blowing it out. It turned yellow for a few seconds, took the smell and smoke away almost instantly, and turned back to green. Skeptical, I tried a bit more smoke producing burn, until it turned red and I could actually smell the smoke. Again - seconds until it was gone, no smell, and light green again. The next day came the real test. I fired up a 2.5 hour smoking stoagie in my room, and after the first couple puffs, the machine kicked in with the red light and higher fan. It stayed red pretty much constantly, BUT, someone in the living room, less than fifty feet from my open door, said they only noticed the occasional whiff, like if someone were smoking outside and the door got opened for a second. And this is with no windows or external doors in the house open, at all! Further, when I went for a few minutes without actively puffing my cigar, the light went to yellow until I started actively puffing again, and, when I finished my smoke, it was only ten minutes or so until it was back to green, and the room smelled fresh. Fast forward to now... At this point, I've had it for a few weeks, have smoked several cigars, with the same results, and also had some smoke from hot oil that it took care of quickly and efficiently. RE: Other reviewers' complaints... SMELL: Some have complained of a chemical/plastic smell coming from the unit. I could detect an EXTREMELY faint hint of that with the fan on high and my face directly over the output, but even that went away after a couple weeks. NOISE: Seriously - this thing is very quiet, compared to ALL the other fans and the AC units in my home. Even on high, it is drowned out if even one other fan is on, and on low and sleep mode, it is nearly silent. Of course it makes SOME noise! It wouldn't be able to do the job without a fan, and moving parts make sound. Duh. PLASTIC ON FILTER I don't believe the number of people who complained about this! the product description, the packaging itself, AND the instructions included in the box ALL mention this, and even if they didn't, have we become so entitled that we expect everything to be ready to go, right out of the box, with zero prep on our parts, including removing protective packaging? (Don't answer that - I don't like the clear answer). When you buy a brand new appliance, check inside places that are meant to be opened for additional packaging. Most have some. this is a no brainer, people! "It's a feature, not a bug." Sheesh! LIGHT ON SLEEP MODE: The only complaint I have at all is that the little icon remains lighted when on sleep mode. It is NOT aall that bright, and is the only one that stays on in that mode. Those who claimed the green light at the bottom remains lighted in sleep mode must have skipped reading the manual and/or are not paying attention to the mode icons, because it doesn't. I'd still rather have NO light on sleep mode, and an option to turn off all lights with the unit on high, but those are very minor things, when weighed against all the good points. Bottom line - BUY IT! It's an amazing little unit at an awesome price! I'm buying another one today in preparation for wildfire season!

Just had this a short time but I like the size of this product for the square footage it covers. I also like that it has an auto setting and not just a timer setting to turn off. It runs quietly.

First off, I would like to say that I appreciate this purchase that I made because when I purchased it, it was smaller than I thought but this air purifier did wonders because the moment I will turn it, my room would feel more fresh and clean, so I am glad that I made this purchase. I have had it for a little over a year now, but you will not regret it if you’re looking for something to freshen up your room and the air within the space that you’re trying to use this for ✔️💯

I cannot even get the filter to open per the instructions. Trash!

I love this Air purifier has helped with air in my house my allergies don't both bother me there is less dust you don't hear it runs really quite it was a great investment

So I have nothing bad to say about this product. My husband smokes and the air purifier picks up on it and light turns from green to yellow to red if there is a fair amount of smoke. It literally cleans the air and when complete turns to green. The fan speed changes at each level green low-no noise, yellow - medium speed a bit of noise and red - high noisy but short lived. Let’s talk about customer service.5*chatted with Yvonne as I wanted to take advantage of 1 year replacement warranty, she was awesome and sent me confirmation. I am so pleased I bought a smaller one for bedroom. I am very pleased.

Do 4 stelle solo perché il dischetto dei comandi è arrivato staccato.. ma messo una punta di colla è perfetto. Per il resto il purificatore fa egregiamente il suo lavoro e lo consiglio vivamente lo utilizzo in cucina ma anche nelle camere e devo dire che anche per dormire meglio io vedo la differenza. Molto silenzioso utilizzato al minimo leggermente rumoroso al massimo. Ma parte solo in caso di grande necessità. Adoro anche il fatto che si possa scegliere se gestirlo manualmente o in automatico. Aumenta e diminuisce in base al rilevamento della necessità.
