Acid Neutralizer/Water Softener Package

The system is fine and is working great, but it came with no useable instructions which was very frustrating. When we called for help, we discovered that we did not order from Mid Atlantic Water as we thought. It came from ABC Water. ABC Water uses the picture from Mid Atlantic Water which makes you think you are buying from them, but you are not. Not only is that misleading, but it is also plagiarism. Mid Atlantic was kind enough to give us the answers we needed. We still have not heard back from ABC Water.

I purchased a Fleck 5600SXT 48,000 grain water softener system from 602abcWATER in June of 2016. The system had great reviews and worked well for the first two years. About four days ago I developed a constant drip from the drain line. I called today to get it repaired under the 5 year warranty that 602abcWATER boasts about. I was told that a constant drip from the drain line was "normal", which it is not. When pressed to fix the problem, I was advised that I would have to send the unit back, paying shipping both ways, and a $139 service fee. Only the parts were covered under warranty. This is unacceptable to me. I called the manufacturer and they diagnosed the problem over the phone and are sending the repair parts to me for free, including the shipping. I will never deal with 602abcWATER again and would highly caution others about their commitment to customers. The person I spoke with on the phone did all she could to make me think that a dripping valve was normal and that they had no liability.
