Beautiful platter, but this was our REPLACEMENT from the original received last week. The first time it arrived chipped, this time it arrived COMPLETELY SHATTERED. This china/brand requires careful packing - this was poorly packaged and poorly handled during shipping. You could hear all of the pieces rattling around, and there were fine porcelain bits all over the inside of the box. Unacceptable.

When we were kids mom collected this sat. And I always liked it period i'm glad I was able to pick this up and I used it at christmas time. it is great. it's heavy but you would expect that.
