Nothing new, just awesome as always
Everyone knows literally everything about WD40, so there's not much more to add on the product itself.I use it on everything. I use it on metals to shine them up, clean them, temporarily lubricate them, loosen tight screws, nuts, bolts. I use it on plastic parts of different things to clean them and keep them supple. I spray it on rubber parts like boots in the car. I spray it in the engine compartment of the car to keep everything supple and clean. I spray them on my tools to keep them from rusting. It does magic. It doesn't stain bluestone patios, driveways or cement floors. It seems like it does, but then it evaporates like nothing happened. Which is great. This size can is perfect, even though the price has doubled from about $16 to $30ish over the last 5 years. Buying it in the big can makes the product inexpensive enough where you can use it generously (read indiscriminately)I bought a bunch of WD40 branded spray bottles and they are all full and all over the house. In the basement, in the garage, in the cleaning chemicals closet. Very handy and affordable. The can is a little awkward to use, especially in the beginning when it is completely full. Please use a funnel and be ready for a spill. When you go to pour it, the liquid seems to cling to the can rather than come out in a clean flow. Use a wide-mouthed funnel and you are good to go.If you think the 1 gallon can is too big and you are never going to finish it, think again. I go through a can like this every year.Have fun!

I'm tired of dead WD40 spray cans.
I got tired of spray cans running out of pressure. I bought pump-type"oil cans". Great value.

WD-40 is a must-have in every toolbox, and the one-gallon size is perfect for keeping it on hand for all kinds of jobs. Whether it's for lubricating, rust prevention, or cleaning, it works like a charm every time. I use it on everything from door hinges to tools, and it never disappoints. The large container also ensures you have plenty to get through multiple projects. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a reliable, versatile product!

CA Compliant Formula Comes At A Good Price, But Doesn't Seem As Effective As The WD-40 I'm Used To
I've bought WD-40 by the gallon for decades for many uses but the main reason we go through so much is we use it to wipe down our motorbikes and ATVs after running them off-road in the mud and water. It helps keep the metal parts from rusting and shines up the plastic and painted surfaces. When I saw the great price on this at Amazon I jumped on it immediately but it wasn't until after using it a few times I began to suspect it wasn't doing the job quite as well. It wasn't until after that I noticed the "California Compliant" in the title (edit: I now see that Amazon has removed it from the title and added a note stating "Low VOC formula available in CA only" to the description). I originally posted a question here asking if anyone else who bought it was aware of any differences to which only one responded as of yet stating that it was "just the same", however after others I ride with agreed with me the stuff I was spraying seemed different than theirs (the first thing we noticed is this stuff does not seem to wipe off dried clumps of mud off as easily / thoroughly or leave a dry to the touch shine as fast) I began to look into it further. As it turns out this CA version is a low VOC (volatile organic compound) formula as required since Jan 2014 per California Air Resources Board regulations. This product is not the same, and that probably explains why this CA Compliant version is about 1/2 price of the real stuff. WD-40 100102 Heavy Duty Gallon Can (Pack of 1)While the exact formula is a trade secret, according to the SDS sheets at wd40company.com the reg formula contains Aliphatic Hydrocarbon (45-50%), Petroleum Base Oil (<35%) and LVP Aliphatic Hydrocarbon (12-18%).This CA Compliant version contains LVP Aliphatic Hydrocarbon (45-50%), Aliphatic Hydrocarbon (<25%), Petroleum Base Oil (<25%), and "Non-Hazardous Ingredients" (10%).I have found no source documenting by exactly how much the different formulas might play in product effectiveness, but given that this CA Compliant version is cheaper and only sold in CA it's probably a safe assumption that it is not as effective (doesn't seem to be in my case for my uses) but probably is a bit safer for your health especially for those who might incur repeat and prolonged exposure. All in all, seeing that it does seem to perform the same job nearly as well and as long as it's still going for around half the price I suspect this won't be the last gallon of 'CA Compliant WD-40 I buy.
