These are the best socks in the world. Very very comfortable, great support in walking boots. They never drop and bunch up. Somehow they are warm in the winter and yet not hot in the summer, yes I wear them all year round. They are quite expensive for a pair of socks yes, however I had never worn a pair out yet. Never had a hole in the toe or the heel and I have had some pairs for years and walked quite literally hundreds of miles in them. I absolutely love them 100% perfect.

There is always a sense of comfort and preparation when I put these socks on during colder times. They keep your feet and calfs lovely and warm. Unfortunately for me, and this will not be applicable to every would be purchaser, is that they are slightly tight on my calfs, not enough to warrant their discontinued use but their tightness does leave an impression on my skin. Having said that I am still happy to wear them, I just have larger calf muscles due to an active and physical existence !!!! I have had these over a year now and limit their use to winter months. They are thick so may hinder shoe comfort. I normally take this into account when purchasing particular shoes or boots and if I am going to wear such socks so obviously I size up to compensate for their thickness. No holes or conspicuous wear have materialised so durability is a strong point. All in all nice warm , soft and thick socks to keep cold at bay though a little pricey hence the 4 star review !!

Good quality and warm socks. I have worn the throughout the winter season. They are warm, wash well and keep their shape. Would strongly recommend.

These socks are actually great. They are very warm and comfortable to wear. My only concern is the Amazon Prime delivery driver delivering the socks a day late, then him having the brass balls to literally just throw the package on my drive and walk off, (I saw it all on my Ring doorbell). The package could have easily fitted through my letterbox. I was working a night shift and came home the following morning luckily enough to find the package still there. However anyone could have walked past and just taken it because it was in plain sight. I think you need to retrain your delivery drivers Amazon.

Best socks I've found to keep my feet warm. Never have cold toes again. Even bought a pair for my wife as she is always complaining about the cold- but not now! Not perfect- they tend to be better if dried in the tumble dryer as they can be a bit stiff if left to air dry.

These are not just socks, these are a religious experience. If I wasn't already in bed when I first tried them on, I would have needed to go for a little lie down. Sturdy, snug and toasty, these socks will grip your feet and ankles in the calm but firm manner that is hinted at in vintage Mills and Boon romance novels. If I were not already happily married I would be plotting a campaign to woo these socks. As it is, I will be purchasing my Spouse a pair forthwith.

Well made and nice to look at, and comfortable to walk around the house in. They're nice and long: they almost come up to my knees if I unravel them at the top - which I have to do, as, if I don't, they come up to the thickest part of the calf and are uncomfortablly tight there. Rolling them all the way up means they come up to the slightly narrower part, just below the knee. Even so, they're still somewhat tight around the calf. And I'm not a fattie - my legs are average thickness - but these socks are tight on me. Cyclists or anyone with slightly chubby legs is going to struggle to get these things on, I think. As a cold-feet sufferer and something of a connoisseur of warm socks, these are disappointing where it counts: the warmth factor. When worn around the house (ok, let's be honest, sitting on my lazy arse with my feet up), they're just not very good at keeping my feet warm. The cold seeps in at the toes and the sole of the foot. Which is disappointing - and slightly inexplicable, as they're thick woollen socks; you'd expect them to be good heat retainers. But no. And, being thick as they are, they take up a lot of slipper space, so when you put your slippers on to help keep your feet warm, your slippers feel tight, and that tightness means restricted blood flow to the feet, which means your feet stay cold. Given the high price and the fact that they're sold as being seriously warm socks, I'd say these are over-rated and over-priced. Still, they look good.
