The one star is for the scent of nostalgia. My hair felt terrible after. I used it twice with the same result so I threw it away. Complete waste of money! It was both dry and left a residue. Very disappointed

It brings my wife back to the 70’s. She loves it and the scent is amazing.

This is awesome shampoo and conditioner. I grew up with it am was so happy to see that I can still get it. That being said, relatively speaking....it is way more pricey

Discovering this shampoo which disappeared during my childhood, was exciting beyond the beyond! But I must point out, that whatever chemicals make the lovely lemon scent possible, may also be less than gentle on hair. It really seemed to dry my hair out So, I only use it now, as a body wash. Love the wonderful lemon fragrance, but can’t afford to be anything but inordinately kind to my hair. I don’t color it, tint, or add highlights of any kind, and it shines like a mirror ... unless I use harsh shampoo or heat protection products on it. (Less is best). The lemon bottle top is too cute. But, I will not be buying again.
