Part of the 18v Power For All tool range. Have many Bosch tools in this range, so lots of batteries. Easy to use, powerful saw. Use to cut out rotten floor joists. Well pleased.

Balking at a £1600 quote to prune two mature apple trees made me decide to do a DIY job. Looked at chain saws first but didn’t think one would be safe for clambering Tarzan like thru the trees and plumped for this reciprocating saw - value for money, lightweight and good battery life, cutting through 100mm diameter branches with ease.Perfect!…

Done the job which I bought item to cut branches

This is a pretty large and heavy power saw. In use, it really needs both hands for accurate cutting. That said, the lack of a mains cable means it is much easier to use in hard to reach areas, and, not having an extended cable greatly enhances speed of use.It appears well built and sturdy. Using the same 18v batteries as many other Bosch tools is a huge bonus too. I can't comment on battery life as I tend to use whatever is to hand and swap out from drills, hedge trimmers, mower, etc!There's a wide range of interchangeable blades available too. I used a metal cutting blade on an old fence support and was amazed how quickly and easily it cut through.Overall, highly recommended.

Garden wood branches cutting ! Good product easy to use !

Hubby bought this to replace his old B & D Scorpion saw which had given good service but finally wore out. He bought this saw to add to his power4all collection. Impressed with it so far & he bought a multi-pack of blades to go with it.

I saw my neighbor cut an overgrown tree back with one of these and now I have my own I can testify to how easy it is to use and how much quicker garden pruning of trees and large bushes now is.I have not tried to do any timber / metal cutting - just used in the garden, but have no doubt with the appropriate blades this will take on any DIY task you may have planed.Even with the lowest rated battery, I have not yet had the charge run out so economical to use.

+ Cuts through Woods really well haven't had the change to cut metal yet .Very useful blade that follows the product- hard to understand instructions on how to cut properly with the tool

Plutôt compliqué a utiliser à une seule main, mais c'est le seul petit inconvénient. Ça ne m'a pas empêché de couper des branches plutôt épaisses en hauteur, au-dessus du vide, avec des gants. Sinon, parfait, utilisé avec batterie 2.5 longue durée d'utilisation.
