EXL- SQ6.5 Review,These speakers arrived with no damage and fairly quickly. They went onto a 2014 forester for the rear doors. This vehicle has low volume on stock audio and is lacking in midbass and highs. These speakers paired with the ds18 6x9’s on the front made a tremendous difference! All four speakers were powered with a 4ch nvx amp and are found awesome. The midbass is now there and high’s are definitely crisper. Could not be happier. I have used these in the past on two different vehicles and I can say longevity of these drivers is present as well. As long as the system is tuned correctly and kept under distortion, these will be a great addition to any vehicle. The shallow drivers helped clear the windows as well.

Well, never heard of DS18, products look nice and very affordable. Orderd these out of curiosity, received in 2 days exactly as pictured and in good order. Can you say "beefy"?? Cast metal baskets, carbon fiber cones, point source tweeter, massive VC and motor structure, built-in resistor for the tweeter, speaker wire and grills included. The clincher: 3 ohm voice coils! Will try out this weekend, got a good feeling about these!Oh, and only $60.00 per set. Hope they sounds as goos as I think they will.After installing these, I have upgraded them to 5 stars. Loud, very our but controlled and crystal clear. Only feeding them 125-ish watts tho.

Great sound and built solid. I needed a louder speaker for my Jeep JK and they did the trick, only powered by factory amp and the difference was immediate.
