Emerald Star

I ordered 2 books for christmas presents and both arrived damaged - cover bent & creased and the other had pages folded over. As the packaging was undamaged they must of been packed already damaged.Not enough time to return & get replacements - very dissappointed.

Le 3ème volet des aventures de la petite héroïne de Jacqueline Wilson. Comme elle est attachante, débrouillarde et forte cette petite fille.Après avoir connu Hetty petite fille à l'orphelinat, nous la retrouvons cette fois jeune fille, toujours en quête de ses racines avec sa force de caractère, et son incorrigible tempérament... Pour ceux qui veulent connaître le dénouement de ses aventures, il faut absolument lire ce volume.Ecrit en anlais 'courant' et donc facile à comprendre, je le recommande (comme les deux précédents) à tous ceux qui désirent améliorer leur niveau en anglais. J'ai un niveau B2 et l'ai trouvé très attractif et plaisant à lire. J'espère vivement la retrouver une fois de plus dans un prochain tome car en dépit de tous ses malheurs, elle n'en est qu'au début de sa vie. De belles histoires, à lire et à relire sans modération. Merci Madame Wilson, on en redemande.

I loved Hetty Feather an adored Sapphire Battersea so I couldn't wait for Emerald Star to come out. It's the final one in the trilogy. Here's a sneak peek. (Don't read on if you don't want to know what happens.)Hetty goes to find her father and does! Her father's wife does not like her so she goes to find her beloved Jem. She finds him but does not feel happy with him. When Tanglefields Travelling Circus comes to her town, Hetty becomes the new ringmaster and goes to live with Madame Adeline! It was a bit of a sudden ending and I wish there was more...I think the first book, Hetty Feather was the best. It gripped me from the start and I really wanted to know what happened. I recommend these books to anyone 6 and over (but it migjt need to be read to you). I don't think boys will like these books - but my brother had to listen to them on story tape in the car, because he has three sisters. Buy these books now!By Anna Tuck age 9

Seriously Hetty Feather, Sapphire Battersea and Emerald Star are the best books I've ever read - all three books are part of the stories. I recommend you reading Hetty Feather then Sapphire Battersea first then read this as you will understand it. It was funny, creative and gave you some whopping surprises, the book is really engaging and entertaining to read it takes you on an adventure and is even emotional. Jaqueline Wilson is an excellent writer this book was amazing. The ending left you thirsty for more. Though I didn't like the ending as it wasn't what I wanted to happen :P but that just proves how in you get into the book, it's well worth the money.
