K&N PF-2400 Fuel Filter

and again, perfect fit for my Chevy Motorhome

I bought a used 2000 Chevy Express conversion van with the 5.7l 350 in it with 103,000 miles on it to convert into a camper van. I decided to do a good portion of maintaince on it because who knows if it’s been done in its 18 years on the road and with the low miles I assume it’s been sitting for sometime. I put this K&N fuel filter on in minutes very quick easy job I didn’t notice anything out of concern with the old filter but as soon as I started her up I noticed immediately a big difference in the way she sounded and I got her out on the road and the proformace was much more like it should be guessing the old one was a little gunked up clearly from the difference in the way it moves down the road and when it’s just sitting running. Normally I wouldn’t expect much of anything from changing a fuel filter other then peice of mind knowing it’s been done. I can’t say anything about anyone else’s experience other than my own.

Not much to state. It was an affordably priced, well reviewed, replacement for the fuel filter that was on my truck probably since initial sale. Went on easy and fit appropriately.*Of note, for my model truck, this filter is located under truck in front of Gas tank. Held on by a couple push clips. Takes about a minute to complete. But you'll want to get your gas tank down to about 1/4 tank and maybe even have the passenger side downhill slightly or jack up the driver side front to limit fuel loss.

I always recommend going with AC Delco/Genuine GM parts but I decided to give K&N a try. They’ve never failed me in the past with air filters, so I know that same quality is in their fuel filters. Installation was very easy, however, it is a tight fit on the 94-96 Impalas/Caprices. It’s not a huge issue, though, as the hoses are able to connect and secure it in place.
