Plastic Shell is brittle, and may be damaged when cleaning, especily the threading around the lid,, and body. Mild soap only . ... Because of stainless steel trim ,,, it is NOT MICROWAVABLE. >>> TIP on not having the lid leak (threads). Position the lid opening to be at about the 5pm after U put it on.
