Simon & Schuster Elements of Family Style: Elegant Spaces for Everyday Life

I love when someone publishes a design book that is not only useful/informative but a pleasure to look at and read. This book (as well as Erin Gate's previous book) tick off both boxes; Erin has a very approachable style and her aesthetic is elegant yet attainable. The physical quality of this book is outstanding - beautifully bound, quality printing and artwork and the striking spine pattern is genius. I'll admit, I was first drawn to the design of the cover/spine of her first book (Elements of Style) because it is so striking to display on a shelf or coffee table and when I saw this next volume my first reaction was "wow". It also helps that it works perfectly with my blue & white ceramic collection :). Very happy with this addition to my design library!

This book is very nice as a coffee table book, I have a lot of blue and white decor so this just adds to the aesthetics, It lost one star because it doesn't look brand new and there was a very small dent, must have happened at the time of transport, never the less it's a very pretty and affordable book to have if u are a collector.
