PENGUIN Without Remorse

Thought provoking and philosophical in parts. Not just an " off the shelf" action novel at all .Still very current despite the period it was set in.

A good, fast-paced, story for those who enjoy action novels. And a good length, so great value in terms of entertainment.

This is the real story behind John Clark. Not that rubbish from the movie using a black man pretending to be John Clark. The original John Clark is a veteran from the ashes of Vietnam war.. who got recruited into the CIA amidst his on going vengence against the sex and drug ring cartel who horribly rape and murdered his new found love. His brutal revenge projected him as a highly skilled and effective CIA field agent who also involved in leading a highly secretive operation back into Vietnam to rescue some supposedly 'dead' high value high ranking imprisoned fighter pilots. In the Tom Clancy stories to come he becomes an indispensable agent for Jack Ryan.

Tom Clancy è avvincente come al solito. il livello di inglese non è inaccessibile per chi vuole fare pratica. Molto bello.
