Disappointed all the way around
I give this product a 5, ONLY for the design of it, the real disappointment is the number of reviewsThis OMT product made me very disappointed. Did not expect these type of issues from OMT. The 1st set I had to turn back in for defects. However, this 2nd set is actually worse. The first issue are the diameters of the collets themselves, most were undersized .8mm to 2.2mm. This affects the working range where it was impossible to remove a bearing, one too big, the other to small [1st kit]. Another problem, second issue is the cutting of the collet face itself. They are not 120 deg apart or offset from one another. This causes the collet not to open evenly, more like egg shape [5 of 10]. Thirdly, is the Pin Bolt, they are not heat treated hard on the tips that spreads the collet. Another issues of egg shaping. As per pic, these Pin Bolts where only use once to test the collet spreading and return to their retracted position [all were used to open the collet to 60% of max or approx half way. One could only imaged what these tips would look like after a dozen or less usages. All I can say, this collet set will deteriorate rapidly. Maybe others have had good luck. However, from what little I use it, I would NOT recommend this collet puller set. Hope this helps you.

Yamaha r6
Used this for a 2010 Yamaha R6. Both wheel bearings and the needle bearing. Worked like a freaking charm. Super easy to set up and use. 10/10 would recommend.

Not looking like the strongest thing
But it did pull the stuck bearing I needed out. Very fiddly to use, and quite difficult to get them to expand, but when you do, it does what it says it'd do.. Can't figure out some of the threaded accessories in the kit, but I suppose I'll figure it out when I need them LOL

will remove bearings, bushings and seals without scarring or damaging the assembly
I don't write reviews that often--but I just received this and was able to remove both bearings and brass sintered bearings from a closed shaft. Lots of ways to remove bearings--but 2mm thick brass bushings are really an "acid test" for a tool like this... More importantly, the removal of these bushings did not scratch or mar the internal finish of the shaft. Very impressive--especially for price. A couple observations--first, as you approach the limit of the diameter of the bushings--the tongs are not exactly even--so care should be taken to fit it carefully. Second, the "counterstay" is pretty wonky--you must turn the large counterstay nut---not the end nut. If you turn the end nut--as on a gear puller--you will disconnect/unscrew everything. took me a while to figure this out. At end of day--worth every penny!

Worse than garbage
How can something be worse than garbage? Because it also wastes your time in addition to not performing the function it was supposed to.I bought this for a specific job. I had two blind bearings to pull, pretty straightforward ones too, and I was successful with zero. A 0% success rate is pretty terrible. Not only are the threads really chattery and rough, still covered in dust from the manufacturing process and sharp as hell, but the puller brace is a joke. It's a floppy mess of loose-fitting pot metal parts that aren't even remotely solid enough to pull a bearing. Before I even loaded up the first attempt, I donned my safety glasses, knowing it was likely this thing would get its final revenge on me by taking me out through the eyeball. As you can see from the picture, the whole thing twisted under any reasonable amount of torque, and now it's permanently bent. How much torque you ask? I dunno, but less than it took to remove that bearing. Now, I know what you're thinking: "but, but, maybe your bearing was really stuck and it was asking too much of this puller to remove it!?" Nope, I ended up fabricobbling a blind puller from a couple washers, some half-inch bolts I had laying around, and a flange puller plate. Pulled that sucker right out.Every time I buy an OMT product, I know I'm taking a gamble, and I've been burned by several of their products in the past. Well, I think this is the last time I wager my time. I suggest you don't waste yours.

Cheaply made
Certainly not a everyday shop quality tool but will get the job done. Most of the adapters were egg shaped and not even close to being perfectly round and had to clean them up with the grinder. Slide hammer is to small to be of much use. It will get the job done but not for someone who will use it on a regular basis.

Just what we needed
Worked great for what we needed. Having an older Jeep, we were able to fix it ourselves.Used it on our 84' Jeep J-10 and our 2004 TJ Wrangler.

This tool is simply awesome!
I needed to remove two sets of stacked oil seals, with blocked rear access, on a boat motor bottom end. One of the sets was fairly corroded/seized in the housing, however with some heat and the extractor kit, I was able to remove even these stubborn seals without damaging the aluminum housing. This is a great tool to have in your kit!
