Worked well. Easy to install. No lock so make sure you get what you want.

Ad said it came with latch etc but picture didn’t show. This is a closet knob (non-locking) and Yes it comes with all parts. It looked like good quality however when I installed (easy to do with a Phillips screwdriver), I find the knob has a slight hesitation with the latch when I turn the knob. Hopefully it holds up. My old latch-different brand was broken and didn’t turn at all.The latch is rectangular per picture attached and fit in prior groove. Note-some locks have different shapes so be aware you’re buying the right shape to avoid extra work fitting.They do provide an extra part to protect latch in case you need to hammer to fit into hole on door better but didn’t use it.

This has all metal construction, which was a very pleasant surprise. The broken knob this one replaced had plastic innards, which degraded over the decades it was in place and ultimately snapped. I expect this one to last even longer. A great value!

I used one round knob to replace an operating Kwikset lever-style knob. I did not need the mechanism, strike plate or other knob because I was replacing an existing application (the lever-style was easy for our dog to open, and that was not a good thing). Operating knob is pictured on the left.

The knobs and external connectors (screws) were identical to those that were replaced. The latch mechanism was similar but much better built than the one that broke. Assembly of the entire replacement was very simple, requiring about 5 minutes.
