Rubbermaid 2993ARBLA Smart Solutions Sink Mat

For starters this mat is 13.5 x 11.25 inches Or 34,3 x 28,6 cm's. This is not a small mat. I have been buying these mats for years. I love the fact that the circle folds back so when you want the drain exposed it is an when you don't you fold it over the drain. It is said to have Microban ( which is an antimicrobial protection that safely fights the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria) but I find that over time they all need to be washed and cleaned to keep them from becoming moldy ( sounds better than slimy I think).And surely, if you live with someone who thinks nothing of spooning out leftovers to lay in the sink for ages before the mess gets rinsed down into the disposal area, this mat will not cause your sink to automatically do that process for you, although I certainly wish they made a mat that would do that for me, because I would buy it to avoid the fight with my husband.Anyway, this is a great mat. I have only seen this available in the colors red and black and I do wish there were additional colors.

I purchased this sink mat, but I had to cut it to fit my bar sink. This type of mat used to be readily available from Rubbermaid and other suppliers, but now they are getting harder to find. They are invaluable for protecting sinks from scratches more severe damage. My 12 year old sinks look practically new because I use these mats. This particular mat is nice looking and is easy to cut to fit. I recommend it for protecting a big investment.

As always, performing like a champ. Thank God the kids that messed with the dish drainer didn't get to the sink mats.

First of all, I never write negative reviews. But I have had two of these sink mats in the past and loved them. So I thought all the hype about the oder was just that...hype. Well I ordered one to replace the one that I keep on the side of my sink that covers the disposal. No problem at all with the middle piece, it was just like the one I was replacing. I have now had it for nearly a month. It still smells awful. I don't know if rubbermaid has changed the compound that it is made of or what, but the oder is overwhelming. At first I thought some of the negative reviews might be from folks who have a small unventilated kitchen and didn't give it enough time to lose it's "new" smell. Well I have a big wide open kitchen that spills into my dining room and living room and again, after a month it still smells awful. Not worth sending back, but will never buy another one. I love Amazon, but they need to nix this product.

Just what I was looking for. It does get a bit stiff over time. Just replaced my original mat with another.

It's not a small sink mat as described, and it does not countour to fit the sink, so it doesn't lay flat if it is a bit bigger than the basin. I'll send one back and cut the other to fit if I can. The stopper thing in the center is WONDERFUL. No more silverware falling into the garbage disposal. I just wish the mat itself either bent to fit the contour of the sink or was a little smaller. My sink, by the way, is the same measurement as the mat so technically it should work but the mat designer forgot to take into account that the inner corners of a sink are generally rounded, and that makes the sink bottom a tad smaller than the top. Had this been 1.25" smaller all around it would have been perfect.

This may is perfect for smaller sinks! I strongly think it should come in a set. Most kitchens have a double sink! There is a nice round rubber flap in the center that can be lifted to pull the plug on the drain. I however easily cut them off because I also use a dish strainer to catch any debris.Very nice, durable quality!!
