Works Well...Right Out Of The Box
Does its job well with my massive music collection. Somewhat noisy, but that's just a signal that it working. I will buy more of these as needed.

Bought 2 of them in April 2021, first one works fine, didn't open second one until end of the year and it made noises right out of the box and completely broke within 2 weeks, seller would not help and told me to deal with manufacturer. 2 year warranty not honored by manufacturer and accused me of altering product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR DEAL WITH THIS SELLER!

Works good
It has good xfer speed. Reliable. Handy. But, as far as portability goes, all HDDs are risky. Portability means the risk of dropping/bumping/jarring. SSDs are not as fragile. But then again, you'll never find an SSD this large. I've found some advertised, but they're junk. Gotta be careful.One pet peeve I have about software makers in general, is that they all assume you'll just install whatever you give them without any thought. But, I need to know a lot of pre-purchase/installation info. This drive came with some software. But, there was no about it with it. I had no idea what it was for, what it did, the license agreement, or why I should even be interested in it. I just deleted it without any thought. It works fine as a plain-ol-drive.
