Given this is unflavored, I think the flavor is very neutral and hits the bullseye for what it is. Maybe a slight essence of rice in the taste. I love that there is only 3g of carbs per serving. Mixes better than whey, definitely better than casein. Great product, will be buying again.

ABOUT ME: I’m NOT a fitness fanatic by any means, but I am dipping my toe in the water, lol. I don’t usually mind the flavor of regular vanilla protein but wanted something more exciting to help curb by sweet tooth post workout. REVIEW: I love the birthday cake flavor! It doesn’t taste like birthday cake (more like vanilla ice cream), but the sprinkles help trick my mind into thinking it does. Overall the flavor is satisfying, no funky aftertaste or anything. The sprinkles have no flavor but I like them anyways, they add a unique texture that makes it feel more exciting. I do wish they blended better, they pretty much all settle to the bottom. Easy to mix and doesn’t make me nauseous post-work out if I have an empty stomach (some other protein powders do).

ON has some great flavors and this is just a great way to make it easier to bring my protein with me. Yes, it's more expensive, but for certain situations this is VERY handy. Plus, if you don't know if you want to buy a big jug of this flavor, this is at least a cheaper way to find out if you like it or not.
