Raphael8404 Kolinsky Round 4/0

Fantastic brush with a great point at a great price. I'm a seasoned miniature painter and I ordered 3 of them

The Raphael Kolinsky Sable brushes are the best I've found at the price point thus far for model and miniature painting. They have great control, the bristles snap just the right amount and they hold paint well. One possible downside is they tend to come with a label on the end of the handle which might irritate some people depending on your grip, but it is removable and a little acetone or alcohol will get the adhesive off of it. All in all, I'd say you can't go wrong with these brushes for model and miniature painting. To compare them, I like them just a little bit more than the Windsor Newton Series 7, primarily because they don't have the guide hair which is tends to bother me personally, but they are generally on par otherwise.

This line of brushes is the best. Perfect for miniatures. So smooth and precise. Holds and let’s go of the paint perfectly. No stray hairs.

I will always love these brushes. I use them as an artist to paint particularly miniatures. It keeps its shape for a long time, it's precise. I love it and will continue to buy it.And this is not my first time buying these.

The first thing I noticed when I unwrapped the brush was a product ID label wrapped around the blunt end of the brush. It was held on with a very strong, sticky glue. When I finally got the pieces of the label off the end of the brush was coated with a sticky gum which left sticky goo on my hand whenever I used the brush. Neither soap nor isopropanol would remove it. Why do manufacturers ruin an otherwise good product like this?

...der Pinsel kam mit einer Plastikspitze auf den Borsten gesichert zusammen mit einem weiteren bei mir an.Beim auspacken sah alles super aus, das Auswaschen der Zuckerlösung folgte und schon gingen die Borsten bei dem 4/0 Pinsel auseinander.Mit etwas Gefühl wieder Form reingebracht und etwas Farbe aufgenommen ( Vallejo Game Color Acryl ) und ein paar Probestriche gezogen. Nach sehr kurzer Zeit kein gezielter Strich mehr möglich da alle Borsten aufgingen.Sehr schade, die anderen Größen funktionieren super, dieser geht wenn möglich zurück.

Does not hold a point very well. Quality control must not be what it should be for this price range.

筆の太さを間違えた。細すぎて、いまいち。木のえだを描くのはいいかもね。
