Husband loves them. There are more ingredients than sugar, colors, flavors.

I have no idea what the other reviewers received but it must be a vastly different product than I got. First off, the “dirt” taste is just anti-caking (you can literally see the white powder in the photos). I presume you don’t want a giant solid lump of candy. It’s pretty normal on some types of candies, especially these. As for the flavor being weak? I’m not sure what’s expected. They taste definitively of black currant. They’re just as sweet as any other hard candy made in the style. The flavor is prominent, it’s not overpowering and it’s not weak either. I’m not sure if the flavor was made much stronger they’d be particularly nice tasting. Anyway I like them, taste is subjective so to each their own. But if you like black currant candies, these are good.
