Not cast metal, but a metal 'mesh (flimsy) product -tin or aluminum- dipped in plastic with a trim piece around it. IT SMELLS BADLY like cheap rubber. Needs to be left outside a few days, trust me! Actually contacted the seller about the disappointed quality (mine arrived bent).Will it work? yes. Protect anything? No. Look 'okay' ? Yes-"far away in the dark"!Other products contain the SAME description of 'metal' so you may end with same product elsewhere...it DID arrive with 4 screws and plastic grill clips. I would have preferred it be a heavy injected PLASTIC speaker grill than the flimsy stamped metal.

Started tearing up my subs. Had to remove them.

Perfect and easy to install. I would definatly recommend.

Will not fit a 12" sub!!!!!!! Covers the foam but does not account for the rest of the face of the sub. Save yourself a bunch of agony and buy 15" covers.

Probably will work good if your speakers a recessed in your box. I combed up some spacers. Good price and works good enough for me

I have not installed them yet but I know they are just what I needed for the 2-12 spkr cab I am building.Its almost finished.Thanks,Danny
