Buy! You might just need a basket upgrade not a grinder ….
I had thought I needed to upgrade my grinder- turns out, all I needed was to upgrade my basket.I have a Breville Oracle with a built in grinder and I have a smart grinder pro. I was not happy with stepped grind and was looking to buy a Niche Zero.Sometimes I found that my grind size had to be reduced to single digits to get a 1:2 Espresso, after the basket, I find the espresso much better and it’s logical. The holes are fine and this lets the brew come out better.The added bonus is that the puck is much more easily removable.I use this basket in my bottomless portafilter as the regular one is a little shallow for it.Well made and really improves your espresso. I highly recommend it!The 54 mm one DOES NOT WORK with the Barista Express. The ridge prevents engagements. My review is for the full size basket for the Oracle
