Q: Where is this made/manufactured?

Dear Jeannete, Thanks for your question. I'm proud to tell you that our stones are 100% natural. They are extracted from the mines of Artigas, a small area at the north of our country, Uruguay. It is almost one of the only places in the world where this kind of specimens can be found. The back and base of our Amethysts are absolutely natural (basalt), it didn't suffer any chemical process. Our stones are never artificially dyed or treated. We are a small business. My partner Carla and I received the stones from the mine, cleaned them, packed them with care and love, and sent them to the Amazon warehouse in the USA. Even the boxes are handmade. Q: Do i need to wash my amethyst?

Q: When it says polished (vs raw), what part is polished? The back stone part, or the actual crystals?
