Good product for the price
The plier itself is great. It locks and twist easily without much effort. The safety wire came with the kit is not so great, it's very thin and snap easily. 6-8 twist per inch is recommended but the wire can only take 4 before it breaks. Overall, good pliers but recommended to buy thicker size safety wire.

Works great, peace of mind
Don’t do work that needs these everyday but on few rare instances I have used them to secure nuts/bolts/etc that I don’t want to vibrate loose they have worked great and give me a warm fuzzy knowing things will stay secured. Mainly use them on boat and trailer accessories that get lots of vibration when towing and in rough water.

Decent tool for the price
It’s a good tool, a little hard to lock the jaws shut. And the helix spinner is very tight, not good for light gauge wire.

Chinese junk that reflects the price
After opening it i immediately noticed why it was priced at $22. Realistically I should have gotten one at harbor freight for half the price but likely higher quality. At first glance, the finish is sloppy (obvious paint and or weld defects). What seems like a pewter knob on top, maybe lead (I can only imagine how long that will last against the steel shaft). A plastic end cap on the bottom of the corkscrew popped out after a few times testing out the the corkscrew and releasing it. The corkscrew shaft itself was slightly rusty. There are more flaws but it’s all what you would expect from a twenty dollar tool. It is a little rough on twisting heavier gauge wire but it will do in the mean time until it inevitably breaks. For those looking true safety wire pliers, I’d look towards Milbar and probably buy off of a reputable site other than Amazon.

Useful, But Not For All Purposes
This product will definitely "twist wire." However, it did not work for the purpose I purchased it. I make my own speaker cables as well as make cables for friends. After stripping the jacket off of a section of the speaker cable, I needed a tool to twist about a 1" long length of exposed wire so I could insert it into Banana and Spade plugs without it fraying. Much of the (14 to10 AWG) wiring I use is 200+ strands or more to make it flexible. I found that many times a lot of the individual strands would slip out of the tool's jaws even when it was clamped down. I also disliked that it must be used as a two-handed tool. Due to the way it functions, I was not able to hold the wire in one hand and operate the tool with the other hand. Once twisted, one also has to hold onto the tool *before* you release the "puller" that twists the wire. If you don't the tool will simply reverse its operation and untwist the wire. Additionally, after I returned it, I went to Lowe's, Tractor Supply, and Freight Harbor in search for a different type of wire twister and saw the exact same wire twister (under various brand names) for $14.99). No difference in appearance whatsoever. I rated it 3 stars for value because it can be purchased $6.00 cheaper elsewhere. I rated it 3 stars for ease of use because it is not particularly easy to use (it is a two-handed tool), although it works OK if the other end of the wire you're twisting is held in place by a vice or screw (leaving both of your hands free to operate the tool). I rated the durability 5 stars because it seems to be of solid construction. It just did not work for the purpose for which I needed it.

What a twist!
I’d never even seen any of thrse in action before. A quick read of the instructions and it’s quick and easy to put safety wires in snug and neat. It’s a treat to use ( assuming you need accurate placement of twisted wire ).

Amazing value.
Have seen these for 100$ in places over the years. This tool proves safety wiring can be affordable and easy. Works as it should. Not pretty, but highly functional. Worked in full thickness SS safety wire, not just for skinny stuff.
