Will this work with windows 8 ?

yes it will work, with Microsoft I did task with windows 10, and system is link with the kvm switch. and my repair system when working on system is done off it as well. I do lots of virus removal that on 8 & 8.1 work very well

Does it have to be a keyboard and a mouse? i want to use 1 port for a ms keyboard/mouse combo receiver, and the other for a pair of usb headphones

does this product support 220Volts with the included power supply?

Why would you need 220 volts? The unit is powered by the USB/VGA cables that you plug into it that are powered from the computers. There is no external power supply.

Does it work with Windows XP?

This unit requires no drivers and uses Plug and Play to function. It also uses standard USB. While I have not actually used the unit with XP I see no reasons that it would not work. At least that is my thinking.
