Pleasantly Surprised
I read the reviews and I didn't know what to expect. At best i figured i'd get a guard that lasted one season and then i'd upgrade if i found them worth it--but i have to say, i'm very pleasantly surprised. For the cost, this product cannot be beat.they were pretty easy to install, and they've stayed in place great. I live in Michigan and they survived the snow, rain, wind, and recently 90+ degree days. I thought in the hotter weather they would get soft and come undone, but it has not been the case. i'm 8ish months in, and they've been perfect and done their job. For the price this product cannot be beat.As far as cost, for a DIYer this product cannot be beat. They do stil up pretty high in my 4in gutters and you can definitely see them, but the appearance isn't bad and you really don't notice them unless your looking. To keep the crap out of my gutters they're totally worth it. plus, i wanted it arced so stuff wouldn't build up on them.Good buy.

Inexpensive and effective
These are the ones you want if you live in an area that can have heavy rains. Other guards with less open area will cause some of the water to miss the gutter. They aren't perfect, but then again, no product is: It greatly reduces debris from getting in the gutters, but some will obviously get through. I only have to clean the gutters under an Oak tree twice a year now.I've bought a total of 6 of these. I tuck them under the shingles and line up the lip with the outside of the gutter so they are barely noticeable.Tip: I unroll it and leave it in the sun for a couple of days with a few bricks to help flatten before install.

Amazing for the money spent!!!!
Great product as far as installation and purpose! With that said.... its very light weight and god forbid you ever have a squirrel or a heavy wind storm. I installed these in my gutters within 2 hrs. They work great. I have had them come out of my gutters a few times because of a storm or a squirrel thinking he's Rocky and can jump off of it. Simple fix was attaching some simple heavy fishing line weights to them with pliers. Extremely cheap and practical in the long run if you don't want to pay an arm and leg for gutter gaurds to be professionally installed. Love this!

Works pretty good, but not perfect.
I've had this installed for about 3 months, and during a rather heavy oak leaf drop in Florida. The screen has done fairly well so far. I have supports every 24" running from the house facia to the outside edge of the gutter. The screen sits on top of the supports, and sags a bit in between each support ( you can see a support in the picture). If your supports are more than 24" apart, I would guess the screen would sag so much it would touch the bottom of the gutter, rendering the screen somewhat useless. Small twigs get caught in the screen, and a light collection of leaves piled up on top. The screen has prevented my gutters from constantly clogging, like they always did before. It's hasn't degraded at all so far.UPDATE: After about 6 months of use, these are still holding up fine. A bit more sagging in between my gutter supports, so I'm thinking about placing something like a non-biodegradable pool noodle inside the gutter to provide support. My gutters haven't clogged at all with the gutter guard, whereas before they would completely clog every month or so during leaf drop season.

Keeps leafs out!
The mesh is easy to install, but has washed out of our gutter twice now. It does work well to keep leaves out but the holes are large enough that it will allow some tree seeds in. Also the edges are very sharp so wear gloves when you handle this.

Minor tweaks for tile roof, but works well. Easy to install
Don't you hate it when the instructions and guidance are exactly as described. Easy to fit if you follow the instructions. I had to tweak the fitting at any corners as I have a tile roof, so be prepared to waste a few tries getting the mesh to sit well. I would think for regular composite roofs, this would not be an issue. Highly recommended by Consumer Reports over other products, even professionally installed alternatives, which is why I thought I would give it a try. As long as you don't mind getting up a good ladder to do this, this is a easy install.I do live in an area that gets a high winds, so I am checking to see if high winds may require me to tie these down with rip ties, but so far they fit well and the wind has not caused any issues. If I have any issues, I'll update this post.

Very hopeful these gutter guards will work!
I was looking for something to keep small, skinny bamboo leaves out of my gutters year round. It’s not a typical gutter installation so some of them wouldn’t work. These guards are very light weight and easy to cut to correct length. The difficult part is fitting them around the horizontal supports every few feet. For that reason, I only gave 3 stars for anticipated longevity; I’m not sure if they will stay in the gutter.

For the Price
I installed these before the leaves started to fall this year. They do seem to work but rely on wind to keep the leaves from just lying on top of the guards. I did have an issue installing the first six feet or so from each end, it was kinked and would not lye in the gutter properly, tried lying it in the sun but I just could not get the kink out. For the price acceptable if they last a couple, three years.
