DEKOPRO 198 Piece Home Repair Tool Kit, Wrench Plastic Toolbox with General Household Hand Tool Set

I bought this kit for my young adult daughter who moved out of the house for the first time. Oh, how I wish I had something like this the first time I moved out on my own decades ago! It's a great starter kit for someone who just needs basic tools around the house.

I'm incredibly picky about my toolboxes cause I need it to have allergies the right tools. Metric and SAE, hammer and wire cutters, the right pliers, etc. And this checked all the boxes. It's not the most durable set I've ever bought but it's not cheap quality either.

I liked the number and assortment of tools available. However: a big disappointment for much of the set. The socket set has both metric and English, but there are more metric sizes than English sizes. I got ready to use the Hex wrenches and none would fit my new sink. I finally looked to see why, all are metric and will not fit 90% of the hex screws in the country. Major problem. (Might fit autos, though but this is a home kit, not a garage kit). Several tools like the pliers and hex wrench set to not snap to the case strong enough to keep them from falling out when you open the case. If you don't need English size hex wrenches and can deal with a shortage of English sockets (which by the way are smaller and only fit the screwdriver, not the socket wrench), this might work for you. Thinking of trying to find another more English set, I did have another set with all English tools but Amazon lost it in shipment and did not have a replacement.

Bought this kit for my daughter who was moving to her own place. I'm a handyman type of dad and she always wanted to help me. The kit isn't top quality tools but has most everything needed to do little projects around the house. I thought it was a good deal and felt good about her having a good variety of household tools. She tells me all the time how much she uses it. Makes a proud dad happy. Would buy again.

I have lots of tools needed something for home. This has so much to get you started and really organized. The tools are not super cheap but if your s tool snob and looking for the best they are not the top of the line however its a great starter. Especially a gift for the new couple and such. For thing around the house its great. Yes as you go along you will find you want a corless drill snd their may be sockets you dont have but this will get you started with most. Only draw back. By 1/2 in socket for some reason does not stay in. But their is another that does so no loss.

I have a friend who has lived in her older home for about six years. Between having an older car and an older house, she has borrowed tools for her various tasks. I bought this as a gift for her. It's definitely not high end tools but they are perfect for occasional use. She was absolutely thrilled.

Decent tools, good assortment, but lacking in wrenches. 4 star tools, 2 star case. Be prepared to keep picking up tools that came loose from their snap-in placement.

The piece supposed to hold the cylinder keys (i dont remember the name) doesn't hold the cylinder key when placed facing the ground. This is problematic as my boyfriend couldnt use it for any car repairs without holding it pressed against the pieces the need to be unscrewed for example. Also, the screwdriver with the magnetic coating doesn't actually hold any screws, it doesn't seem to be magnetized. For someone with no use for the first piece mentionned, it is suitable, but considering it is 100$, I'll return it for another that has every item functional.
