Works on Blueberry bushes and doesn't catch birds
Worked well on my blueberries last year to keep the birds off.The previous netting I had was too coarse and the birds ended up getting caught in it. Almost one every day. This netting was fine enough that they did not get caught on it, I did have one bird get caught twice for the entire summer, except they got trapped under it and not tangled in it with their claws. This was due to a gap in the netting on the backside of the large plant.

Cabbage moths and worms defeated!
I was skeptical of the product at first. It seemed too thin and fragile. We have tried to raise Cole crops like broccoli and kale for several years. Entire crops would vanish almost overnight once the cabbage worms went to work. Conventional insecticides and "organic" compounds didn't help much and we didn't want to use them, anyway. We stretched a piece of the generously sized netting over half of a welded wire stock panel anchored in an arch shape to the sides of a raised bed. One long side was wrapped around a piece of PVC pipe so the netting could be rolled up out of the way to tend the crops. Our Cole crops are the best we've ever had. No white moths or little green worms. I think that the netting also provides some shade. The netting is vulnerable to punctures and "runs" but these seem to heal on their own. So far, the netting has survived several Kansas thunderstorms, high winds, and a short hail storm with no damage. I attribute this to the fact that air flows through it and it seems to stretch to accommodate wind loads. It is very permeable to rain and watering.A great product!

Too fine
Obviously needs to be trimmed to correct size. It will start to shred and rip where areas were cut. Once I was able to place this netting under the rings, it worked well. I don't use this for keeping debris or critters out of the pond. I use it to protect the roots of my plants from the Koi. (The Fry love the roots of the floating water plants like hyacinth and water lettuce.) It's difficult to secure to ring. Gets green very fast. I remove the plants and hose off from time to time. Have to be very careful ad the cut areas get larger as the material rips. It doesn't stay real secure on the rings as it twists. Once I get it in place and tied with zip ties, it works very well. The fish would go after all the roots of the plants immediately when putting them into the pond. With this netting underneath the plants, they are very protected and the Koi can no longer destroy the plants ad they have done in the past. There is lots of netting so it will last a long time. Maybe next time, I'll cut more to size. I made it very large so the roots weren't bunched up at all. I wanted the roots to have lots of room to float free.

You'll love it.
It's fabulous! It keeps out cats, birds, insects but you'll need to lift it up for bees đ to pollinate during the day. It's easy to store once you don't need it. Quality is fabulous. Easy to use and material thickness is quality.

Not helpful.... at all.
Very thin. Pulls more easily than any other brand I've used. Every sort of clamp tore it. Every wind pulled holes (and I did not have it pulled too taught.) After all the work I did growing seedlings, this let TONS of flies, craneflies, and even a little lizard in! This proved very problematic. This is not a product I would recommend or use again. If I had not cut it in half it would be going back.

Absolutely obsessed with this netting.
Ordered this because our garden space gets no shade. Not only did this cover both of our 8 foot raised garden beds but it also covered 2 other galvanized tubs that we had stuff planted in. We had 0 issues with bugs last season while others had tons of issues. It prevented the sun from scorching everything while it was small and kept the frost off in the early part of the season. Everyone that saw it asked us where we got it because my garden thrived this year in a way it never has before. It was a 2 person job to install because it was windy when we installed it and itâs a rather large piece of fabric but other than that it was pretty easy to use. We weighted the edges down with bricks and laid it over top of a primitive stick trellis and it has little to no damage to it so itâs high quality netting. I like that you can actually see whatâs growing without taking the whole cover off but it still does its job to regulate temperature enough to not cook or freeze our sprouts. We will definitely be reusing it this next growing season.

The best DIY garden tent
The bugs have been plenty the last few growing seasons. So I used my tent poles and this easy to work with netting to keep the bugs out. I highly recommend this netting.
