I've been using this type of 12-inch grid ruler for a while now, and it’s truly the best one I’ve ever owned. The grid design is fantastic—it makes measurements so much easier and more precise. The markings are clear and easy to read, even after frequent use. What I love most is the balance between sturdiness and flexibility. It’s durable enough to handle regular use without bending out of shape, yet it has just enough flexibility to adapt to different surfaces. This ruler has been my go-to for everything from crafting to everyday tasks, and it’s held up beautifully. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-designed ruler, I can’t recommend this one enough!

UPDATE FIRST: CHANGING MY REVIEW TO 5 STARS: WHY: I didn't think that this ruler would become my go-to ruler. But because I underline a lot in books, I didn't realize/ I forgot that with my old, stiffer ruler, that I was always missing the word closest to the center of the book, because the ruler wouldn't bend that far, to help me underline the last (or first) word on the line. Well, this ruler bends so well, it follows the curve of the page perfectly, and I can underline the whole thing just great! So I'm changing my review to 5 stars from 4! Old review: Okay, so these rulers have a W-10 on them (See the top 2 in the photo.) My old ones (Bottom Westcott) have a B-50. Not sure what the official difference is between them beside that the B-50 costs twice as much, but I will tell you that I believe that the W-10 only uses plastic that is half as thick as the B-50. The B-50 is nice and firm, it bends a little, but basically feels like a normal ruler, and would not, for instance, wrap itself around a cup. These, however, are much thinner, and would certainly wrap around a small cup. Another reviewer said that they would make good bookmarks, and I agree, they are that thin, whereas the B-50 would be a little too heavy for a bookmark, and would probably fall out. I haven't tried underlining with it yet, but I suspect that I will choose my B-50 when I am using a good, thick pen, and when I am using my "01" thin tips, the W-10 will probably work in that case. So not super happy that it's not as thick as the B-50, but I'll give it a try anyway.
