Enlightening Information for Better Health
Heart palpitations can cause you a lot of anxiety. Not knowing what your heart is doing can be pretty scary, which is why I went online for more information. That led me to three of Dr. Carolyn Dean's kindle books. Then I decided to read her major work (The Magnesium Miracle) because it all started to make sense to me and my supplemental use of magnesium seemed to help my heart function properly again. What more proof did I need? Personal experience with magnesium has also made me feel a lot less anxious. But which magnesium to take? The Magnesium Miracle discusses a variety of magnesium forms and claims Remag is the magnesium supplement without a laxative effect. And now that I've been taking it for over a week I can say that is true. At the moment I'm taking 1/2 a teaspoon a day with no problems. I will however say there is a learning curve when taking it. Don't take it straight and dilute it in over 2 cups of water or juice. It is even better if you dilute it in 1 quart of water. Otherwise it is a little bitter and salty tasting. I have also put the liquid into vegetarian capsules and they are easy to swallow. You just need a syringe without a needle (to fill the capsules) and vegetarian capsules (three hold 1/4 teaspoon liquid) which are easy to find. So that is my best advice if you decide to try the Remag liquid. If you are serious about your health, which I'm sure you are, you will learn many helpful facts in this book that most doctors are not telling you. This book is intelligently written and shows a lot of research and experience with real-life patients. I found Dr. Carolyn Dean to be ahead of her time and she sees things so clearly it is as if God has gifted her with an immense ability to analyze diseases and recommend the treatment program most suited to recovery.Dr. Carolyn Dean's wealth of knowledge is only exceeded by her supreme ability to coordinate a care plan for those suffering from the most common diseases. I'm just amazed that any one person can have such an extensive expertise. She doesn't just know facts about magnesium, she understands how the body functions and what happens when there is a deficiency. Still consult with your doctor to make sure you know the exact condition you are dealing with and to gain advice on how to treat it.This is the type of book I look for as I believe the author's heart is in the right place and her decades of medical research puts her in an enviable place of power to help suffering humans. She does talk about her own supplements throughout the book but I found this more helpful than distracting.I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend the paperback copy as it is easier to access all the information that way. There is an index to help you find topics quickly. Some of the conditions discussed in this book include: anxiety, depression, insomnia, migraines, stroke, high cholesterol, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, menopause, PMS, infertility, pregnancy, kidney disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, asthma, aging, Alzheimer's and dementia.Helpful sections include a few pages of "magnesium content in common foods." There is a bone broth recipe and a potassium broth recipe as well as a recipe for chocolate bananas sweetened with stevia.I can recommend this book to all true health seekers who are tired of getting sicker by the year. Magnesium is not an instant fix but it does seem to work fairly quickly. Please consult with your doctor before starting new supplements as your prescription medication may need to be adjusted. I am not a doctor so this review is just based on my personal experience with magnesium and this book. Please consult with your doctor for more information.~The Rebecca Review
