Ugly Stik Fishing Tools

Comfortable, sharp, and well made fishing pliers! Really heavy duty and sharp enough side snip to cut thru Braid with ease. They immediately became my favorite pliers and I have many pliers. Uglystick seemed to think of everything! I appreciate the Open Belt Clip on the sheath so you can clip it to your shorts without a belt. The closed clips on sheaths require a belt to be run through them but not these You can use it with a belt, it just isnt necessary and they all should be made like this. They will slide over the waistband of any shorts or pants. The Sheath also has a pivot in the middle so the angled pliers can be sheathed lefty or right! Or if you're just sloppy sticking the pliers in, the pivot swings and adjusts to the feed angle of the pliers. The lanyard is great but can easily be removed. I didn't find that I needed it taken off. They have the hook holes in the heavy duty metal of the pliers to pull on hooks and tighten knots. Oh and did I mention the razor sharp side-snips, which are far more convenient than snips in the middle of pliers. If I had to find something to complain about it might be that they are a little heavy...but heavy duty and still comfortable to use in the hand. I was so pissed when I thought I lost these at end of last summer. Luckily I discovered they were hiding in my salty boat for 6 months or more and still looked and worked great. This is an environment that Forces me to replace my plug wrench each year because they literally fall apart. These were fine. Coated with something no tool company knows about or maybe made from vibranium, I don't know really. For the price especially you really shouldn't look any further if shopping for pliers. This isn't a paid endorsement and I don't even review a lot but when i find something this great I feel I should share it with others.

I just got into fishing and bought some ozarktrail pliers thinking its just pliers dont need nothing fancy. After struggling multiple times with them with the cutters or the gap on the tip not working. I decided to buy something nicer. This pliers are the best. The feel great on the hands. Comes with a holster. The cutters work great and the pliers have a lot of grip. Best pliers ever. UGLY STICK FOR THE WIN

Works as it should

Took these with me on three different offshore fishing trips this year. Like that they hang on my belt for easy access. Cutters work great on braid and mono. Pliers are very strong with a nice rubber grip. Would recommend.

I like these pliers. I like the handles, they give you a good grip. I have not used them yet but I know they will serve me well. My last pair went to the bottom of the lake. When searching for something new, I noticed some folk that were not too happy because of rust. I can't speak for all, but a lot of times, it comes down to how you take care of your "stuff". I think to be on the safe side, I'll try to coat these with a little vegetable oil from time to time and I think they will be fine.I wish I was as happy with the pouch and the lanyard. The lanyard is pretty short. I want the lanyard on this but I went with something longer so it would be less restrictive to use. The pouch, looks nice, but... I have found the pliers to get hung up in it. It gets so hard to get out that it will pull off your belt and you end up using two hands to wrestle it out of there. That's unfortunate, when you think your buying something name brand.

Line cutters will cleanly cut any braid ive thrown at it. Pliers have amazing grip on hooks. The angle makes it less finicky to quickly remove hooks. Best fishing pliers I've owned.

Great pair of pliers. Heavy duty and seem to be holding up to salt water just fine. The sheath is a little awkward bc the pliers need to be facing the correct way to fit properly so while in the moment it takes extra time to stow them. Very happy with them and would recommend.
