Concrete Joints and Crack Repair : Archer PRO Diamond Blade Review
I recently used the Archer PRO 4-1/2" Crack Chaser Diamond Blade for concrete repair with my angle grinder, and I must say it's an outstanding tool for this specific task. The diamond blade performed exceptionally well in creating clean grooves in existing concrete joints. It effortlessly cut through the concrete surface, leaving precise and smooth grooves behind. The result was a professional-looking finish that significantly enhanced the appearance of the concrete. In addition to joint cleaning, the blade also excelled at opening up cracks in the concrete. This made the crack repair process much more efficient and effective, allowing me to seal them properly to prevent further damage. One of the most impressive aspects of this diamond blade is its durability. Even after using it extensively for over 100 feet of joint cleaning and crack repair, the blade still had plenty of life left in it. This long-lasting performance saved me both time and money, as I didn't need to replace the blade midway through the project. Using the Archer PRO Crack Chaser Diamond Blade with an angle grinder was a breeze. The blade's design allowed for precise control and maneuverability, making it easy to work on the concrete surface without any issues. In conclusion, the Archer PRO 4-1/2" Crack Chaser Diamond Blade is an excellent tool for concrete repair projects. Its outstanding performance, durability, and ease of use make it a valuable addition to any DIY enthusiast or professional contractor's toolbox. If you're looking to improve the appearance and durability of your concrete surfaces, I highly recommend giving this diamond blade a try.

Much better to repair concrete cracks
This is a second blade and a relative comparison. The blade is packaged in a lightweight envelope that is not very strong to hold it for shipment, but not a problem for this blade. Installed on a 7.5 amp, 10,000 rpm, 4-1/2 angle grinder. Balance at-speed is good with no vibration. Provided good cutting through hard, aged driveway concrete. After cutting into about 200 linear feet of concrete with the first blade, it seemed to cut slower in the hard concrete. The new blade cut a little easier, but not that significantly. Well worthwhile for commercial use. Used it to cut the full depth of the grinder limit (deep cracks) and shape a profile to remove hidden, unsound concrete. The blade is durable for this shaping work. With the selected concrete repair materials, the cracks have not reappeared after 2 months of use and appears the driveway does not need to be replaced. Repairing by using this blade is much better than lightly opening cracks for a homeowner even for limited use. Used this blade more than a thinner one for this repair work.

Rips through concrete
Does quick work of cleaning up control joints, just wear your PPE. I used this to open up cracks in my 60 year old driveway. I used it on a corded 7 amp angle grinder. The bit was the perfect size to clean up and use 1/2” backer rod. Kicks up a ton of dust and debris, so wear a mask, eye protection, hearing protection, and the right gloves. Terrifying quick to use.

Good price, good fit
Fit good on my 4-1/2 angle grinder. Cut cement floor like butter.

This crack chaser worked amazing for me on an older concrete slab
I used this crack chaser to clean out cracks in a concrete floor in my barn. It worked really easily on my grinder and did not wear hardly at all. It enabled me to have consistent grooves to fill with epoxy before refinishing my floor. Really well made and seems like it would last forever.

Did the job
Really tore into the concrete with ease. Plan on where the dust and debris will get thrown. I repaired the cracks on my garage floor so I simply made sure the I made my way from in the garage towards the garage door. I swept everything up and prepped for the epoxy. It was too easy.

Chases cracks.
Survived a light driveway repair with no apparent damage or wear. I have no idea how long one of these blades would last under daily use, but if I could use it every day for a year, or even 6 months, before having to replace it, I would give it 5 stars. If you mount this on your grinder wrong it will fly off, possibly killing you or your loved one. Be very careful. Harbor Freight Hercules just recently came out with their own crack chaser, so if I had to buy one today, I would probably get that instead. I have no complaints about the Archer Pro crack chaser. It does its job. If you think you can get away with crack chasing without a particulate respirator, you really can't. I can get lazy about wearing PPE, but trust me on this one. You will be fully engulfed in a giant cloud of concrete dust. I think the best case scenario would be a massive sinus infection. I would not trust a dust mask to this job. Full respirator, fit-tested, with P100 cartridges. Happy chasing.
