Good Motor
I did a side by side comparison using a micrometer with the old and the new starter prior to installation. All measurements taken were identical. It went into my 1996 F250 with 460 cu.in. (7.5L) engine with no problems. It has only been in service for 3 weeks but thus far it is working great.

drive trane
works good but had to interchange the head as the model was for auto transmission and mine is a standard. but other then to offer for either transmissions.

Failed at 3rd Start: update. My fault
Worked awsome 3 times then failed. I had to update this review. Starter is fine. Actually really good. I bought wrong tooth count. I needed 9 for my 429. I bought the 10 tooth one. Make sure you know what you need before ordering. Somehow it worked with the wrong count about 3 starts.
