Perfect Image Pineapple Pumpkin Enzyme Peel - Enhanced with Papaya Extract & Alpha Hydroxy Acids

I bought this because I had had expensive pumpkin peel facials before, and it worked without irritating my sensitive skin. I cleanse my skin normally before using this, I do not follow the suggestion to clean twice or use alcohol first because my skin reacts to everything. I read all of the instructions thoroughly before use, with the magnifier on my phone. The first time I used it I left it on for one minute, and I the results were minimal and comparable to using my konjac sponge. But it was important that I test my reaction to this product and so I'm glad I did that short trial run. I waited two weeks and then used it again last night, I left it on for 2 1/2 minutes. The burning increased the whole time and I was afraid I'd over done it. I used a wet, cold washcloth 3x to remove the product, and then applied a light moisturizer as the directions specify not to over moisturize. My skin was immediately smoother and more radiant. I was concerned that a couple of small pimples were an angry bright red. However! When I woke up this morning, those little pimples were gone. PLUS, one of my deep horizontal forehead wrinkles was gone, and the other is nearly gone as well. My entire skin tone and texture is more even and some old acne scars are less noticeable. Today my powder foundation looked just like natural skin. I also applied some on my forearms to lighten sun spots and left it on for 5 minutes -- they have definitely faded after only one application. I am very excited about the results from this product and I will continue to use it every two weeks! I'd like to step it up to weekly, but better safe than inflamed. Maybe with my next bottle I can use it every week.

Works really nicely, but you have to read the instructions and use as directed!! I wonder if people who leave bad reviews aren't doing that. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and looking like it has a nice glow. I made the mistake of leaving it on too long once under my eye and it did irritate that area and leave it red and burned looking for a few days, so that is why it is very important to follow the directions. I am in my early 40's with some early signs of aging, fine lines under the eyes and some deeper ones on the forehead, and some old acne scars here and there. I bought this hoping it would help reduce some of those. I've been using it 1-2 times per week now for about three weeks. I can't tell on myself if it has done anything (I forgot to take "before" pictures) but I have just recently started getting a few compliments on how nice my skin looks. If anything, I know it feels much softer and smoother. I will keep using it if only for how it feels! I think the most important things I can say about this is read the directions carefully, don't leave it on too long, and MOISTURIZE afterwards. And wear sunscreen! And you have to give it time - one use will not change your face but continued use will give you results.

This is my first chemical peel purchase, and chose this product based on the price and reviews. I have some scarring on my lower leg and one of my forearms from folliculitis, and my Dr. recommended trying a professional chemical peel to help with the dark spots left behind. I was very anxious to try this, and followed the directions for applying to clean skin and leaving the product on for 1-2 minutes to see how my skin responded before leaving it on for another minute or two. I have been doing this routine weekly for the last three weeks, and have noticed that my dark spots are beginning to lighten, but I have a way to go since my skin is very fair. So far, I have not had any adverse reactions as far as skin irritation or any significant peeling from using the product. I was glad to see that in addition to the glycolic and lactic acid, that there is also papaya extract that provides natural exfoliation of dead skin; pineapple enzymes that help to moisturize, hydrate, and provide additional anti-aging benefits; and pumpkin extract to increase cellular turnover and promote the production of collagen and elastin for improving the appearance of fine lines and the skin’s overall texture. This product is made in the USA in a FDA registered facility and is free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. The product is also not tested on animals and they also use sustainable raw materials and practices. I look forward to continued positive results from this product after several weeks of use in order to avoid laser treatment that is very expensive. For the price and positive results others have had with the product, I am hoping to have the same experience in the future. Noticed a difference. My hormonal acne scars on chin are starting to fade. Very mild peeling.
