Great product
Perfect extension tool for mu Miele vacuum. Sturdy, yet flexible to get at those hard to reach spaces!

Great tool for hard to reach areas
What this tool is great for: attach directly to the hose handle and it makes it super easy to reach areas like where the ceiling meets the wall and spiderwebs love to collect, or vacuuming out windows, behind furniture to grab the dust on the tops of the baseboards, in between boxes in storage areas to keep the dust bunnies at bay or between tightly spaced furniture. Can I do this all with the crevice tool that came with the vacuum? Sure, but…. The size of this tool makes it much more dexterous, if I’m just using the small crevice tool attached to the hose I’m limited in what I can reach (and must get down on the floor and practically crawl under the bed, for example). If I use the smaller crevice tool is attached to the metal tube, I can reach into some tight spaces, and up to the ceiling, but the size difference between this tool and the metal tube in the vacuum is significant and these tasks are much easier using just this crevice tool attached directly to the hose handle. It makes awkward moves much less awkward and easier to handle. To address some of the negative reviews I saw, this says “flexible” and it is sort of bendy (at least not rigid) but in a weird way. It doesn’t really bend much although you can curve it a little. It’s sort of weird. In terms of thickness. It is perhaps just slightly wider than the crevice tool that came with my vacuum cleaner. For both these reasons, no, it is not really a solution for cleaning dryer vents or under the fridge, and it’s not just going to easily bend into some twisty spot. It also will not handle large clumps of hairy dustballs or other large particles; it is, after all, a crevice tool. But if it gets clogged, I don’t think it would be too difficult to push the clog back out with a long stick of some kind.

Great tool
It’s a great tool for my Miele vacuum. I’m able to vacuum out the dryer vent trap which I couldn’t do with the short crevice tool that the vacuum came with

Nozzel Cleans where no other part reaches!
I have used the C1 with the flexible crevice nozzel and needed to order a new nozzel. There is a difference in the flexibility of the new nozzel compared to a more flexible older nozzel. However, the new nozzel reaches under different pieces of furniture and sucks up dust, dog hair, bobby pins and whatever else. I haven't experienced any clogs but I think a wayward sock would be too large and block air - the Miele will let you know when that happens and you can pull a sock, ends of floor length curtains, overhanging bed sheet easily away from nozzel. I recommend for crevice cleaning, baseboard edging and any narrow area that a regular floor attachment wouldn't fit.

An absolute must for Miele vacuums
1. Amazing reach 2. Material is very solid, unlike the "compatible" one I had and threw away. 3. Bendy but not too flexible, allowing springing back and due to high quality material its not super flexible. 4. Fits - perfectly. 5. BEST PART: END SLANTED, MIDDLE ALL COMES UP. DUE TO NARROW GAP, WILL GET CLOGGED AND BY ALLOWING THESE TO COME OFF, ALLOWS QUICK REMEDIATION BY CLEARING THE CLOG EASILY. USAGES: BETWEEN CUSHIONS, CORNERS - HIGH & LOW, REACHING DEEP INTO UNDERNEATH POWERED SOFAS, SOFA AND FLOOR GAPS, DRYER VENT, ETC. MIELE HAS 3 OF THESE BUT PRICE DIFF. BETWEEN THESE ARE LOW AND ITS BEST TO GET THE LONGEST ONE: THIS.

Best crevice tool
Perfect for vacuuming difficult to reach crevices, also works well to clean out dryer lint filter slots.

Lifesaver here on many levels.
This thing is a life saver. Used it to get things out of the dryer lint trap area, clean it out, also clean out under the fireplace and refrigerator. Its very flexible as well like you can almost bend it in a 1/4 semi circle aka 90 degrees without it creasing. Highly recommended.

Clogs Easily! - Beware of trying to use on a non-Miele vacuum!
Once I got the crevice tool working on my various vacuums, it's fantastic. As well as locations inside the house, we're planning on using it to clean our cars. The problem we've had is that I own three non-Miele vacuums - Oreck, Panasonic, and Bissell. I have an adapter to allow my Panasonic and Bissell to accept standard size attachments and wands. Before I bought this crevice tool, I made sure that I could buy a Miele-standard size vacuum adapter to allow me to use the crevice tool on my current vacuums. Miele-standard adapters are readily available. The problem is that all of these readily-available adapters assume that you own a Miele vacuum (35 cm) and that you want to use a standard size (32 cm) attachment. My situation is the opposite - I am trying to attach a Miele attachment (35 cm) to a standard size (32 cm) wand which isn't what the available adapters are designed for. The adapter that I need doesn't seem to be available. I did lots of research and called many vacuum companies and nobody could come up with one. My husband finally came up with a homemade solution that isn't perfect but lets us use this fantastic crevice tool. In a box of old vacuum parts, he found an old vacuum hose with a 1.5" end which fits on the outside of the Miele crevice tool. The other end of the hose has a standard size end which we've been able to jerry-rig onto our vacuums by using one of the Panasonic or Bissell wand pieces as a make-shift adapter. Definitely not perfect, but it works until we can come up with something better. If anybody has information about where I can get the kind of adapter that I need, I'd be so appreciative for any information. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------ One Year Later I would like to take away some stars, but Amazon won't let me change the stars. I finally did find an adapter and found that the Miele extended crevice tool often clogged. The adapter was shaped like a napkin ring and slipped into the crevice tool. I wondered if the adapter was the cause of the clogging. A few days ago, an Amazon question made me wonder if I could use my old Panasonic wands on this crevice tool since I know that Panasonic tools and wands are larger than standard 1.25" size. I was able to insert the non-attachment end of a metal Panasonic wand into the Miele crevice tool. Then, I was able to insert an easy-to-find standard 1.25" / 1.33" adapter into the other end of the Panasonic wand. At that point, I had the crevice tool at one end of the Panasonic wand and a 1.25" opening at the other end of the Panasonic wand. I tested my invention and again the crevice tool got clogged. As I was trying to unclog it, I suddenly realized that the Miele crevice tool is actually comprised of three parts which can be pulled apart. There is a short tip, a long flexible section, and the end which attaches to the wand. I took the tip off and tried using the other two sections - suddenly it didn't clog. Then, because I was on a roll, I tried one more experiment. I have been seeing that long crevice tools are also made with the opening on the bottom instead on the end. I took a dental floss cover and taped it to the front of the crevice tool. The L-shape of the dental floss cover bent the force of the vacuum downward instead of forward. Suddenly I had a long crevice tool which wasn't getting clogged and which really seemed to pick up much more of the endless cat and dog fur which hides under our furniture. So, the question is, would I have spent $30.00 on this tool? I don't think so. My advice - if you have a standard 1.25" vacuum, I would find another extended crevice tool.

Ein absolutes Must- Have für alle Staubsauger-Besitzer! Klare 5 Sterne!

About 30 inches long and is bendable, gets into low and high awkward corners
