An important story
This is such an important and amazing story. It is beautifully written and illustrated and I think it can be enjoyed by young and old. This is a great book for the classroom or for your personal collection. If you have any interest in the environment or turtles, you simply can’t go wrong with this book.

A wonderful story book with amazing pictures.
I used this book with my KS1 class and they loved the story and the pictures. It is written as a fictional book but provides lots of non-fiction information. A must if you are learning about sea creatures.

Great new book for PBL
Love this book! Beautifully written and illustrated. A great read to introduce children to social and environmental activism. I love the notes to children, teacher and parents at the end. I'm planning to use this book with my third and fourth grade class to introduce the idea of a Community problem-based learning adventure. Note: Cousteau also provides great resources and ideas to get kids started. This book is a winner.
