1/35 King Tiger Etched Grille # 35167

Perfect fit for my 1/35 Tamiya Tiger, gave it that extra detail and realism I wanted at a decent price. Nice quality with good instructions.

Here is a great photo-etched kit for any of Tamiya's 1/35 scale King Tiger kits. Kit consist of: engine grill covers, air intake covers, and sights for the anti-aircraft machine guns. Grills will fit Tamiya's: King Tiger Production Turret; King Tiger Porsche Turret; and Jagdtiger Tank Destroyer. also, kit will fit other manufacturer's kits of same vehicles. I use these photo-etched parts to add more realism to the kits for a tank without any engine grill covers just does not look right. Also, there are no photo-etched parts in those Tamiya kits mentioned above. All that comes in those kits is vinyl mesh, and that is hard to cut to exact shapes. Anyway, great little photo-etched kit that does not cost very much. Will hold paint as well. Purchased via Amazon and product arrived well in advance of promised due date and in great shape. If never used photo-etched parts before: will need to use some sort of super glue (any brand will do) in order to attach the metal parts to plastic!! Also need to use nippers/side cutters or Exacto knife to remove from parts tree, but be careful of any sharp edges that may be present. Remove sharp edges with a small file.

Great fit for the Tamiya King Tiger Ardennes Front (Tamiya Item#: 35252). As you can see it does not have the two pieces for the Air In-Take Cover (the non-polygons). You will have to use the cloth mesh that came with a kit which is a chore to put on. The two smaller circular etch-parts in the center are machine-gun target sights. You can probably use this for other Tamiya King Tigers as well.

Very nice addition to jazz up a basic kit. Great fit, don’t forget to use CA glue to install.

リーズナブルかつ使いやすい製品であり、キングタイガーや今人気のE50、E75には必要にして充分なもの。OVMやワイヤーの留め具なんて物はわざわざエッチングパーツ使ったって、塗装してしまえばルーペで覗かなきゃ分からん。私にはコレがあれば充分だ。

定番のパーツです。 安価です。

MMシリーズの初期からのファンです。昔はエッチングなんてなかったなーと感慨深く思います。

画像は金網の部分がゴールドに見えたのに実際届いたのはシルバー色だった。 因みに前回購入したヤクトタイガー４８分の１タイプの場合、ゴールド色だった。
