The do* likes the taste, so she tolerates the brushing experience.
My subject line says it all. The dog likes the taste and is willing to tolerate brushing.I think the paste helps. That is hard to assess, but the product has made brushing easier with my dog.

The color seems off.
I think this toothpaste is a knock-off. In the photo I posted you can see I have an old tube and the color is different than the new one - same brand and flavor. I am going to reach out to the manufacturer and will post an update. I did NOT give this to my dogs.

Vet recommended CET - and dogs seem to love the taste, which is more important
We have used this for a number of years. . One of my previous dogs did have gum disease, I had never brushed, and could have saved him pain from dental surgeries as well as $$$. Since then I brush dogs' teeth every other day to insure good gum health and prevent tooth loss. The veterinary endodontist (yes, they have them!)) recommended the brand. It is more expensive than most but I look for the CET and Virbac label.

This stuff saves my cat's teeth
CET dentifrice is an excellent preventative for tartar buildup and dental issues relating to that. Ive used it for years and when I stopped using it , my cat developed a lot of tartar and had to have dental surgery. This product is now used daily and last dental visit, vet said " teeth are Excellent, keep doing what you are doing"Highly recommend this product.
