When you do not need a moisturizing, detangling, or texturing shampoo; when you need a substitute for old fashioned "Breck" shampoo. This product will clean thoroughly. Not for those with dry or damaged hair. This is a "detergent-type" shampoo and can be used by most people (would NOT recommend for BABIES NOR YOUNG CHILDREN). Scent is low and pleasant. Viscosity is good; rinses out well. Does not leave residue. It gets your hair and scalp clean. You can use a moisturizer or a hair detangler product afterwards, if needed. Contains sulfites - which gives you the cleaning power. Your beautician might say not to use it as it's not the expensive product that they want to sell to you.

After spending several years trying different, pricier, fancier shampoos, I bought V05 again in a pinch, and can confirm that nothing else seems to work as well. So I bought a case of it.

Great Shampoo but $40.90 for 10, 12.5 Oz bottles? That's $4.09 each. Walmart Has 16.9 bottles for $1.14 each. Do the math, Shop around. Amazon is killing Brick and mortar stores we should at least get our monies worth.

This shampoo has been available for many years and has worked well for me. Nothing special but a good overall product. Several years it arrived with a color change that did not seem to affect the product.

The lighter shampoo I purchased is very good! The shampoo is thinner and it doesn't stain my shower curtain like the thicken shampoo I used to use!

Husband will only use this. I buy it in bulk.

I wanted normal hair , not for all hair types with biotin what ever that is. I have used vo5 normal shampoo for the last 40 years if not more, I can’t find it anywhere, all of your new stuff is making my skin break out as I go into my 60’s. I just wanted VO5 Normal Shampoo as pictured and described in the listing, I paid 4 times what I should have compared to the grocery store, I feel ripped off.
