High‑Quality Vegan Omega‑3 That Helps With Dry Eyes, but the Taste Takes Getting Used To
I picked up this Omega‑V liquid because I wanted a vegan omega‑3 option that actually delivers a meaningful amount of EPA and DHA, and this one definitely fits that category. The bottle is well‑sealed, the oil pours cleanly, and the short ingredient list gives me confidence that I’m getting a high‑quality formula rather than a blend of fillers. The biggest benefit for me has been my eyes. After taking it consistently, I noticed less dryness and irritation, especially in the mornings. Several reviewers mentioned their doctors recommending this brand for eye health, and I can see why. It absorbs quickly, and the liquid format makes it easy to take without swallowing large capsules. The flavor is where experiences vary. For me, it has a mild citrus scent and a slightly oily texture, but nothing unbearable. Others describe it as more fishy or sea‑like, which makes sense since it’s algae‑based. I usually take a teaspoon and follow it with juice, which helps cut the thickness. If you’re sensitive to texture, just be prepared for that classic omega‑3 oil feel. The only real drawback is the price. It’s definitely on the higher end for a 30‑day supply, especially compared to other vegan omegas. That said, the quality is excellent, and if you’re using it specifically for dry eyes or want a clean vegan source of EPA and DHA, it may be worth the investment. Overall, this is a potent, well‑made supplement that works as advertised. The taste and cost won’t be for everyone, but the results make it a solid choice if you’re serious about eye health and prefer a vegan liquid omega‑3.

Highly Recommended by my Doctor
My ophthalmologist highly recommended I start using this product for my extremely dry eyes. She cautioned me it would take a few months to start feeling the benefits, and she was right. But it was worth the wait. As long as I take it daily, as prescribed, my eyes have become increasingly, markedly less dry - and I tried absolutely everything before I found this little miracle cure, from an assortment of non-preservative eye drops to tear duct punctal plugs. As a vegan, I actually use the algae version, which is just as effective as the fish oil OV, according to my doctor. Can't say I love the flavor, and I make a quick run for the mouthwash just after I slug down a teaspoon of this still-fishy tasting supplement. But it is most definitely healing my severely dry eyes, so it's well worth a quick moment of an unpleasant taste.

Nice vegan omega 3, but the price burns more than the oil
This is a solid vegan omega 3 formula with a good combined dose of EPA and DHA, and the liquid itself is fine. The taste is mild, a little like a neutral cooking oil, with that slight throat burn you get from a quality extra virgin olive oil, so it never felt like a chore to take. The texture is smooth, no fishy aftertaste at all, and the bottle is easy to measure from. The problem is the price. At sixty dollars for a month, it is hard to justify when there are other algal and fish oil options that cost half as much or less, so I would only pick this up again if you specifically need this exact brand and vegan formula.

omega-3 supplement that's expensive but ok if you want a liquid and vegan option
i’m glad i got this liquid omega-3 supplement. it came in a safely sealed dark glass bottle, and the expiry date on it is over 2 years away. i’ve had this for a few days and haven’t noticed any good or bad effects. it smells a little of lemon zest, and tastes super mild. the taste is a hint of citrus, and no fishiness (most algae-containing supplements i’ve tried taste fishy). though it has steviol glycosides, i don’t notice sweetness nor any aftertaste (as i notice with every other product i’ve tried with stevia extract). i find it slightly inconvenient to need to get a spoon to take this, but i like that it pours cleanly from the bottle, and doesn’t run down the side at all. it is currently listed for over $60 for the 5oz bottle (30 servings), which seems very expensive. this is a fine option if you don’t like swallowing pills and want a vegan omega-3. i normally take fish oil soft gels which are sustainably sourced and 3rd party tested and cost 1/3 of this (per mg of omega-3s), which i will resume for my physical and financial health after i finish this bottle.

Fishy vegan oil
pros: The ingredient list is short and the quality seems thoughtfully put together for a vegan omega option. The bottle size is small enough to stash in a fridge door without taking over the shelf. If you dislike pills, the liquid format can be a plus for ease of swallow, since it is just a teaspoon. Some people also like liquid omegas for potential skin improvement, even if results can be subtle and vary, I might have noticed an improvement but could've been a placebo. cons: Even with algae based oil, the smell and taste can lean fishy or sea like, and the texture is thicker and more oily than many expect. The premium pricing can make the value feel questionable if you are not sure you will stick with it. recommendation: Worth considering if you want a vegan liquid omega and you are willing to tolerate the taste. If you are sensitive to smell or texture, capsules may be the easier route.
